Not very good, the staff are lovely but when I was in desperate need for my prescription nobody not one person would answer the phone ! Tried to ring them 8 times, What if that would be an elderly person and they needed their tablets?

My foot suddenly swelled up, so I called 111 and was referred to Boots Pharmacy. The pharmacist rang me the same day and we arranged for me to go in for a consultation the next day. When I arrived, I was waiting around five minutes before being seen in a clean, private room (and very tidy, I might add haha) She assessed my foot, explained the issue, and prescribed antibiotics and offered various methods of treating it. Thanks to new rules allowing pharmacists to do so. It saved me hours of waiting for a GP appointment and freed up my GP's time for someone else who probably needed them more than I did Quick, efficient, and spot on. I’m really impressed with the service, and grateful for it too! What would've took days, maybe even weeks to get to the end of, The Pharmacist at boots was able to sort in less than 20 minutes! Appreciate your local Pharmacy guys! Notable mention the pharmacist who dispensed said antibiotics later in the day and gave me sound advice on side effects and to call them if I had any problems!

I never before had an issue and loved the staff there, however my recent experience was so appalling I cannot believe someone like that is allowed to work there. I attended the store at 17:20, right after I left from work to pick up my medication. I never would have expected to be judged while picking up prescribed medication or treated so poorly and without care. The worker told me I needed to pick up my medication earlier as it was a controlled drug and the pharmacy needs to complete paper work after giving it. Again this was never an issue and I've been attending this pharmacy since June 2023. I let her know I work until 5pm so I am unable to get there earlier, and the workers response was to tell me I should have gotten there at 5pm then. Firstly, I don't understand the need for a rude response, or how I am expected to come out of work and be there at the exact same time. Because of her tone, how she was looking at me and the fact I was picking up ADHD medication I can only assume she thought I was unemployed and probably inconsiderate of their time. I repeatedly asked when I should be picking up my medication if I can't after I finish work, and she did not have an answer multiple times, just repeating I need to pick it up earlier. She eventually said I should be picking it up on the weekends if that's the case. I requested the medication from my GP last Thursday, and it was ready for collection yesterday, with me only having 1 day left before I don't have any, so I assume Boots expects me to go without my chronic condition medication and ADHD medication as it doesn't suit them that I have employment. There was zero consideration for me or my health. Without my chronic medication I would have been unable to function for the next 3 days, and now I'm being told I am limited to picking up my medication for the small time frame they are open on a weekend and go days without medication. Mind you I also sometimes have to work over the weekend. Again, nearly every worker I've spoken to there has been fantastic and I've never felt judged. The head pharmacist has even helped me during some other diagnosis I am having, but this worker was shocking and I don't understand how they can work in such a sensitive environment. I didn't catch her name but she had darker hair, late 40 / early 50, and overweight. I recommend for others to avoid her at all cost.
