Great intimate venue for watching live music. I've seen Wendy James (Transvision Vamp), Henge and most recently The Skinner Brothers here - amongst others.

Really cool venue. Saw a great gig, good beers on offer too. Will definitely keep an eye out for who else is playing here.

Great venue, bar staff always super nice. Have been coming here the best part of 20 years and never had a complaint. Beers are decent, good value and served quickly.

We attended a concert at The Bodega a few nights ago. It was so easy to find so we got there too early, had a drink in the downstairs bar area where a guest DJ was playing - interesting! We had our tickets scanned and went upstairs into the small concert room. I was surprised how cosy it was but as it was a standing concert there was plenty of room. Service at the bar was quick and efficient, we had no problems in getting served. We chose to stand on a railed and raised platform at the back of the room - we had a great view and the sound was fantastic! Great concert watching Toby Lee and his band, would definitely go to this venue again.

As always a fantastic venue, I had an amazing time watching two amazing bands. Even met them at the end and got a set list signed.

Love a bodega GIG! Small venue but as a result makes a gig feel 'old school!). The drinks were reasonably priced and it's in a great location for town centre so ease of travel! Only issue was security kicked us out at exactly 11 so night out people could danxe- giving us band watchers very little time to say hello to the band and buy merchandise! They were very nice when kicking us out either:( Overall suggest going to watch a band here!

I went to The Bodega for the first time for cocktails yesterday after being recommended by a friend, and it was great. It was rather quiet for a Sunday night (even though there was a gig going on later), but the cocktails were great and service was good. I settled for the Bodega After Eight (after ordering a Blackcherry Margarita, but then being told a few minutes later that it wasn't available) and it was absolutely delicious.....so good that it someone had just given me it to drink I would have no idea it was a cocktail and that it had alcohol in it! Cocktails are £8.50, so not that bad for the area. I would certainly go back again.

Cracking live music venue, so glad it's still going 20+ years after my first visit. Decent sound. £10 for 3 bands, amazing value. Decent pint of Bodega Lager.

Such an intimate venue for live performances. Went to see my favourite band The Dear Hunter there and you can see just how close I was from these pictures. The beer was a bit pricey and the security guard at the front was a bit abrasive but overall a fantastic experience and a cool music venue.

Went for a gig upstairs. It's small, but well laid out. The band (Orchards) were high enough on stage that we could see them from where we were stood at the back. It sounded pretty good too. The bar looked to have a decent mix of lagers, ciders and other such bevvies, but as I was driving, I didn't really investigate.
