   Lovely hotel tucked away with good attention to detail. However … we were unable to obtain a massage that was offered despite contacting 1.5 weeks in advance. Normally I would not give a poor review however we turned up and were also unable to obtain any dinner as the hotel had no availability for their guests so we was left disappointed eating an Indian takeaway in our rooms.

   We dined here to celebrate a birthday and thoroughly enjoyed the evening. The hotel is charming, the food was fantastic, and the staff superb - just the right mix of available but unobtrusive. Some of our party stayed at the hotel and were equally positive. Highly recommended.

   A gem. This hotel is exceptional. It is full of charm and character. Nestled in a traditional Devon village, but close to Plymouth and many beaches. My room was immaculate and the shower was excellent. I arrived after a planned dinner elsewhere but the food looked excellent. A beautiful patio area out of the front allowed for a glass of wine in the late evening sun. Good parking and staff excellent.

   Live locally, but went for a meal there. The food was absolutely outstanding. Service was very attentive and lovely also tasteful decor. Would highly recommend to anyone to visit to eat or stay. Always look forward to going there as such a relaxing atmosphere.

   Plantation House is one of the best hotels I have ever stayed at…..absolutely fabulous service from all the staff. Rooms were beautiful and nothing was too much trouble. We were a wedding party and my daughter and close family were getting ready at the hotel on the morning of the wedding - Richard and his staff couldn’t have done more to make sure we were looked after. Thank you so very much for your part in making the occasion a great success!

   We had a wonderful warm welcome, & attentive staff. breakfast was fantastic (and the waitresses are very efficient). Would recommend getting a higher tier room for more light but otherwise the rooms are good & the shower is powerful.
