   Went I today as there is 20% discount. I must say the lady serving on the till is not happy to be at work. Most miserable and unfriendly. I thought this is a person who does not enjoy her job. A shame because the garments on offer are excellent value.

   Went into peacocks Rugeley today. First person I spoke to friendly and helpful, went to till to pay and that assistant let them down, started with silence then do you want a bag then silence I then said thank you, silence I then said bye, silence. She obviously doesn’t like her job but that’s not the customers fault and politeness costs nothing

   Good local shop with friendly staff. Good range of clothing. Reasonable prices. Worth having a look around. Before Covid I had rung the Rugeley store and the assistant checked the stock for me for a top I wanted and there was only 1 left. She kept it behind the counter for me and I then picked it up the same day. I think it's nice as it feels like a very personal service. +++++

   I went over to collect a pair of boots as my local store didn't have the size I needed and was delighted to find a larger store with a wider choice. The sales clerk was really friendly and very helpful. I will be using this store in future, a happy find.

   I recently purchased a pair of boots for my daughter, they were discounted by 30% at the time. When I was about to wrap them up as a christmas gift I noticed that the size was incorrect. The size on the hanger did not match the size of the boots. Due to the incorrect size I returned to the shop a few days after purchase asking to swap the boots for the correct size, label and everything still attached. When I took the correct size to the till I was told that the boots were no longer on offer and I would have to pay the difference. I am not impressed at all. very disappointed in Peacocks. it is totally disgraceful. I do not see why I should be penalised for the shop not displaying the sizes of the shoes correctly.
