Brought a chain free house that should of took between 6 weeks and 3 months maximum and it took me over 5 months. I did not recieve my keys until just before the estate agents closed either I had to constantly ring up asking for updates Absolutely useless! I would not recommend these. I had interior doors delivered to my house expecting my keys alot earlier in the day to put the doors inside and they were soaked and needed chucking! I also had to turn my painter and decorator away!. Messed my whole joyful moving day experience up.
AVOID Andrew Botham (solicitor) and Louise North (his rude secretary). I have had a case ongoing for the past 3 years againt the police. It was listed for trail and the advice was to attend court. A week before court I submitted evidence an email of the IOPC investigation which infact supported my claim massively and made this even stronger. At this point I was contacted by Andrew offering me extremely low offers to settle out of court. I did not want to do this but I was happy to negotiate things further before accepting or refusing the offers continued to increase despite me bieng advice to accept the first offer and now informed that if I wish to proceed they will refuse to represent myself. They then forged my signature on a consent order (which I have still not had sight of) and sent this gor a judge to approve despite me stating i wish to proceed with the trail. They are now withholding my case claim documentation and refuse to answer my complaint. This is the most incompetent and unprofessional solicitors i have ever met. It is now with the SRA to investigat further. Definitely Avoid.
Stay well clear of this company. Took my case on a no win no fee got a tribunal date and a lot of back and forth and then they decided I need to pay £2000 for them to continue. Absolute joke of a company. Seeing these are only rated at 3.8/5 is not surprising. If you get Andrew Botham I’d just put the phone down and ring someone else.
Never call you back...ignore your complaints...then after demanding my file back I get both my documents and all personal documents for a Vicki Gibson...poor lady hasn't a clue her solicitor in alfreton has breached her data...avoid the alfreton branch at all costs
I wouldn't recommend Cleaver Thompson to sort the setting up of a tuck shop. Complete lack of tact, professionalism and empathy when sorting a will in probate from the sudden passing of my Father. Making sly comments about my family as a whole and having a condescending superior attitude throughout. All this however, would be forgotten if they could actually do their job.
I used cleaver Thomson for a injury and employment claim both on "no win no fee" the service I received was very unprofessional. The Secretaries lack knowledge and Julie is very rude ! They don't return your telephone calls or keep you informed with your case. Massive lack of communication and receiving of funds. Sorry not a good word to say !!
