We were looking at buying 2 x e-bikes plus some accessories, totalling over £9k. Understandably I wanted a proper test ride, spending that sort of money and the store offered me a rental for the day and rental cost comes off the bikes if we buy them. I couldn’t ask for more. This was the perfect solution, I couldn’t have asked for better. We arranged a date, the store had to get one of the bikes in from another store as they didn’t have the size. My wife and I booked days off work so we could also accommodate the ride and planned a cycle route for the day. Fast forward to the day before and I get a phone call telling be the bikes were double booked. I checked, the bikes were at Saltash store but booked for another person and apparently the other person had booked before us? This left me very confused as they had to specially get a bike in for us to ride? Why were we being bumped when quite obviously we had booked first and we hadn’t double booked the opponent. At the end of the day this store is a brilliant advertisement for Giant, we bought Giant e-bikes and are very happy with them. I believe the Specialized in this instance is a slightly better product but let down terribly by its dealers and I need a dealer I can work with going forward, not some bunch on incompetent cowboys

Helpful, friendly staff. Awesome selection of bikes. It is now eight years later and I have taken my bike on three fairly tough tours, on tracks, over rocks and stones and down steep hills at high speed with a tonne of bags on. And bombed it around Montpellier in France for a couple of years. I have never enjoyed a bicycle as much (AWOL, 2015 adventure gravel bike) and I never stopped marveling at how good the quality and tuning was... I have only had to replace brake pads and the handlebar grip. Maybe soon I will get a full on service just to bring it back up to its beautiful original smoothness. As much as anything I recommend the customer experience. Helpful non pushy staff who helped ME find the right bike. I guess they still let people try a few bikes and will help with the frame size, positioning the saddle correctly to ensure you're comfortable. I knew when I tried the right bike that it was the one for me. And because of that I ride it a lot and care for it. Definitely wait until you find a bike you bond with before spending a tonne of money. But I think these guys can help with that. Good luck!
