Our family recently did a tour with Mick exploring Northern Ireland. From the moment we booked Mick was so accommodating, adjusting tour times to meet our changing schedule. The tour itself was wonderful, and Mick was an instant friend sharing his immense knowledge and history of the country with us, and answering all of our questions. He provided excellent local and handmade refreshments and made the whole trip very special. I highly recommend Mick’s Tours if you’re ever in Northern Ireland.

Unforgettable Custom Tour with Mick’s Tours Belfast! We had an incredible experience with Mick’s Tours Belfast! Mick picked us up early at the port to ensure we made the most of our day before returning to our cruise β€” and he got us back with plenty of time to spare, stress-free. Mick was a great guide. He was easy to reach and communicate with prior to finalizing our plans. We learned a lot and he had a wealth of knowledge and firsthand experiences to share. The tour was completely customized to what we wanted to see, hitting all the major highlights (Giants Causeway & Peace Walls) and some hidden gems. He even helped me come up with a surprise stop for my wife β€” such a personal and memorable touch! His vehicle was spotless and comfortable, stocked with snacks, drinks, and even clever props to help explain the history and stories behind the sights. Mick’s knowledge, humor, and genuine warmth made it feel like we were exploring Belfast with a friend. We had an amazing time and highly recommend Mick’s Tours to anyone looking for a top-tier private experience in Belfast. We accomplished so much more than what our cruise line offered and did it on our own pace. Don’t miss out β€” this was one of the best parts of our entire trip!

We spent an incredible 3 days with Michael Smith from Micks Tours Belfast. On Day 1, he took the 8 of us around Belfast, stopping at the castle, Peace Wall, Belfast City Hall and the Titanic Museum. He explained what it was like to live in Belfast during The Troubles, which gave us a glimpse of the challenges during that time period. Day 2 had us going out of the city to County Antrim, stopping at Carrickfergus Castle, Glenariff Forest Park (beautiful waterfall), and Lunch at the wonderful Fullerton Arms pub. In the afternoon, we continued on to the Giants causeway (amazing place) and finished our day at the Bushmills Distillery. Between Day 2 and 3, our ship the Azamara Quest moved to Greencastle near Londonderry. Michael picked us up there and gave us a breathtaking tour of North Donegal. We visited Grianan of Aileach (8th c. stone fort), Fort Dunree, Gap of Mamore, and my favorite place of the trip, Malin Head. We ate lunch at Farren’s B, Ireland’s northern most pub. The views from Malin Head were spectacular! We finished our day at Tremone Bay beach and then Moville. Throughout all 3 days, Michael shared stories and history of his country. He gave us a very objective view of the recent history of Northern Ireland, and we appreciated his insight. We cannot recommend Michael enough as a guide. All 8 of us agreed he helped make our vacation unforgettable.

If you want a great tour guide and find yourself in Belfast, you would be hard pressed to find one better then Mick. We had one day in the area and wanted to see the countryside. We got that and much more. Mick is a real gentleman and ultimate professional. He grew up in the area so you get a very personal and passionate touch. Van is new and very comfortable. His price for 4 hours was 350 pounds. Well worth it considering he spent an extra 90 minutes with us! Contact Mick if you plan to be in this amazing city.

Excellent tour (we did the Giants Causeway, a local art shop, Bushmills Irish Whiskey Distillery, waterfall hike, caves, Dunluce castle, central Belfast history tour with stop at Peace Wall, and other stops along the way!), caters to his group, understanding of time at each location, and does a great job of selecting and coordinating a private tour schedule. Absolute pleasure! We brought a toddler and he was wonderful with her as well.

Excellent communication from initial booking and throughout the trip. We were travelling as a small group with children and wanted to cram in as many sights as we could in a limited time. Mick suggested an itinerary which was perfect. We ended up with a few extra visits added. Thoroughly recommend seeing Giants Causeway and Carrick-a-Rede rope bridge. Mick added a visit to the Peace Wall on the way back to the airport. It was a fantastic and informative trip with great engagement with the children. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend to anyone wishing a tour of Northern Ireland.

Just finished our tour with Mick, and cannot say enough good things about him and the tour. He is extremely quick with communication and keeping you updated. Gave us a heads up on eta to pick us up from the ship. He kept an eye on weather and took us to Giants Causeway first to avoid the rain and added in Game of Thrones stops along the way once he found out we were fans. Mick just went out of his way the entire day. Please make sure you book this tour!

We just finished the most awesome private shore excursion with Micks Tours in Belfast with Michael our tour guide and driver. (We are on Emerald Princess Cruise) Michael went far beyond our expectations. He was prompt, patient and accommodating. His vehicle was very clean and spacious for the 4 of us in our group. He gave us plenty of time and never rushed us. We were able see and enjoyed seeing the true beauty of Ireland as I envisioned when he took the country side route to go to our destinations. Thank you Michael for giving 5 diamonds service for our first visit to your City of Belfast. WE VERY HIGHLY RECOMMEND MICKS TOURS OF BELFAST.

I used Micks Tours Belfast for a private Giant’s Causeway Tour. Communication had been excellent since day one. He picked us up promptly at our hotel as promised. The car is spacious and very clean. He is very knowledgeable and offered commentary throughout our tour. He customized our trip and took us to more places than what I initially thought we would see, even returning to a site several hours later given a lot of fog and decreased visibility that morning. We did not feel rushed and had adequate amount of time at every spot. On our return to Belfast, he gave us some very important history about the city and took us to see the murals and the peace wall. Michael went above and beyond. I highly recommend him for any tour from Belfast.
