Really lovely evening spent in the private garden room for a small business function. Staff were helpful but also left us to it. Nice and clean and use of a music system you can easily connect to your phone. Thanks!
The Waterside offers everything family and friends are looking for. Delicious food (I tried the vegan and the four cheese pizzas), great atmosphere and very friendly staff. On top of that and very important to me is how relaxing the venue is, with plenty of sitting options and a quiet environment. Great way to avoid the busyness and loudness of restaurants in the city centre. Finally, they are dog friendly, which is a must for me.
Nice spacious bar, inside and out! Great for a beer in the sun watching the world go by! We got served quickly as the bar was not too busy. As it was a lovely sunny day, we decided to sit outside. We sat at one of the booth, as my wife was sitting down, she caught her dress and tore it on a nail that was sticking out of the bench. On speaking to the bar staff to tell them of the nail and to ask if they had a sewing kit to repair it, they was'not bothered and not interested in looking at the nail. Will not be rushing back to this place. Revisited after a previous disappointing visit. Staff were friendly and service was excellent. Food was delicious. I had my baby shower at Waterside Bar and Kitchen on Saturday (21/09/24), and everything was absolutely perfect. The venue was stunning, the food was delicious, and the staff were incredible. A special shoutout to Shaun, who assisted us on the day—he went above and beyond to make sure everything ran smoothly. Such a stellar member of the team! Highly recommend this place for any special occasion!
Visited yesterday late afternoon. Place was lively and busy. Got seated quickly in the conservatory with our dog. Staff were looking a little frazzled but explained that they were short staffed and that food might take longer than expected. However, the wait was not that long and the burgers were ordered were beautifully presented, perfectly cooked and delivered to the table with smiles and apologies. Staff were doing a stellar job in difficult circumstances. We’ve visited before and will definitely visit again. Dog was made very welcome, toilets are clean and the atmosphere is great. Thanks to the staff concerned (Sunday 26 February 2023).
Very nice pub - the manager (the Crystal Palace fan!) was very friendly and welcoming and kindly put the football on a screen where we were sitting - thanks for looking after us! Highly recommend for friendly service & good selection of drinks (particularly the neck oil!).
Had a surprise 30th birthday party for our daughter in the conservatory and I can't recommend the venue highly enough. The staff were super helpful and very attentive, the food was great too. We had a fantastic night.
Staff were great, we came with our dog and without asking out came a water bowl. The beer is good with navigation beer on tap, try the hazy pale, great one. We had the pizza, fire and smoke option, a bit greasy (but it was pepperoni), but very nice, I would come back. Although it is a bit smarter than my usual haunts.
What a great outside terrace, over looking the river. Perfect for a sunny afternoon. The food was really good too. The best chicken burger I have had in a long time. Service via the app was very quick and all staff were really friendly and helpful. I accidentally left my phone and it was picked up by staff and returned to me swiftly. We will be back soon
