We had a fantastic experience here! The atmosphere was warm and relaxed, perfect for a casual night out, and the food was excellentβfresh, flavorful, and generously portioned. A special shout-out to Charlotte, our server, who truly made the evening memorable. She was friendly, attentive, and had great recommendations. She checked in often without ever feeling intrusive and made sure everything was just right. Her upbeat energy added so much to the experience. If youβre looking for great food, a cozy pub vibe, and top-notch service, definitely give this place a try!

Had visited here whilst out and about in notts. I chose to have a Sunday dinner and pudding option, the dinner was lovely and delicious, it was a decent sized portion and the roast tatas was crispy and amazing, everything had lots of flavour to it. And the pudding was to die for, very eye watering i had the sticky toffee pudding which also was very delicious and warm with custard that definately went down a treat, i will return again at some point in the future.

I recently had the pleasure of stopping by the Waters Edge, and frankly, Iβm still imoress from the sheer generosity of the kitchen staff. I went for the classic burger and chips, and let me tell you, the portion size for the price is nothing short of an absolute steal. A proper, honest-to-goodness feed that didn't require me to take out a second mortgage. If youβre looking for genuine value without feeling short-changed, this place delivers. Itβs the kind of meal that makes you feel both satisfied and smug about your financial choices. On top of the excellent food, everything was served up in a very reasonable timeframe no need to check the local history archives to see when I placed my order, which is always a bonus. But the real star of the show was the service, specifically from a staff member I believe was named Hannah. She was incredibly friendly and patient, particularly when enduring my truly baffling and likely silly questions about the menu (or possibly the meaning of life, I canβt be sure). Her good humour and easy-going manner turned a simple transaction into a genuinely pleasant experience. Give that woman a raise, or at least a mountain of chips of her own. All in all, the Waters Edge is a proper winner. Great food, great value, and service so friendly it makes you want to apply for a job just to hang out with them. Highly recommend.

A lovely location by the canal. Showing live sports and has a dart board/pool tables to hire. We all had an item from the Saturday special menu Β£11 pp. All dishes were freshly prepared and of good quality with generous portions. Staff were friendly and dining room was clean. We had....lamb kofta flatbread, crown of burgers, smokey jack burger and sea bass.

Really poor service. Starters came out and no cutlery or napkins offered. Waited over an hour for our mains to arrive and it wasn't even busy. Burger was cold, lasagne overcooked and again had to ask for cutlery. Normally find Hungry Horse chain to be really good but this was a bad experience and wouldn't recommend at all.

Strange set up, having to queue for a drink when the half a dozen people in front of you have menus in their hands, there was only one barman serving all night a young lad with glasses Elliott, he was brilliant. He is a proper bar person, he sees everyone as they approach the bar and remmbers their place in the queue, that is a professional at work, what asset to the company goes above and beyond. The food i had ribs were nice, need to get more staff or organised. P.s i hope you never need the wc, disgusting obviously never checked. shame,!

The crispy chicken and katsu curry was really disappointing it was just a schnitzel with a brown coloured chip shop curry. They also ran out of plain rice and was offered other solutions however non of these were actually healthy. Though the interior is pretty the food is just an overpriced Birdseye meal.
