Had a lovely evening meal. About 10 of us. Food was delivered in good time as well as the drinks. Lovely waitress called Pamela very approachable and helpful. Lovely atmosphere

Food was really good as always. Nice looking pub, plenty of parking and seating for big parties or meets with friends. Service was quick for each meal to come out. Only down side is staff were serving locals first rather than first come first served at the bar which was annoying as our food ended up coming out so went back to the table with no drink. If it wasn’t for this it would have easily had a 5 star review.

Perfect for drinks in the sun, avoid the food. We found that everything is actually quite reasonably priced however the quality of the food and the cleanliness is quite shocking. The cutlery was very dirty and when our plates were brought out there was a lot of black marks on them, to be honest it looks like grease. I did think it may just be integrated into the plate but found out it does actually wipe away so I have no idea what it is, either way it’s not something you want in your food. I had the steak burger, the steak is one of the toughest to chew through steaks I have literally ever had in my life and the burger meat tasted like the poorest quality beef they could find. Unfortunately because it was busy the staff were rushed off their feet so they didn’t seem to care. I will say though, the peppercorn sauce is the best I have ever had though it does taste exactly like the one you can buy in ASDA. The cocktails were quite cheap and they were lovely, I absolutely recommend if you want a nice drink in the sun. Beer prices are competitive and there’s lots of variety which is nice. Other than that, it’s probably best to avoid.

We had a cracking meal at the Fox & Crown and couldn’t fault a thing. Kicked things off with the sharer platter, which came loaded with boneless chicken wings – crispy outside, tender inside – and halloumi fries that were hands down the best we’ve had. And that’s saying something, because I’ve been around the block when it comes to fried cheese. The fish and chips were proper pub-style – light, crisp batter and thick-cut chips done right. The steak and ale pie was full of rich, slow-cooked filling with golden pastry that held its own. And the steak flatbread? Big win – juicy steak, warm flatbread, great flavours all round. Great service, cosy setting, and portions that leave you satisfied but still thinking about pudding. Will definitely be back for round two.

Ok, so we were looking for somewhere where we could bring our new dog with us, to be fair the dog probably enjoyed it more than I did, it's been a while since I've been in here and I must say it has gone downhill, don't get me wrong the staff were fine but the pub looks uncared for, as for the food I would say pretty average although I felt a bit cheated as I ordered the steak scampi and chicken, which I think was nearly Β£12, the scampi wasn't cooked properly, and to be fair the rest of the food wasn't that good either but we had waited nearly 45 minutes for the food and the kids were starving and finished the rest of my plate as the state of the scampi put me off the rest of the dish, My partner didn't want me to make a fuss so we just finished and left.

This place has been a favourite for friend gatherings or work lot gatherings. It's laid back, they have sports on often for the fans and their food is always nice. A big bonus in my opinion is their changing menus, it's always great to go and find some new entries on there.

The worst meal we've ever had at any pub/restaurant. Had to wait 45 minutes for food as it appeared that most staff were on a break and when it arrived was basically inedible.i hate to think how long we'd have waited if the pub was busy. It was 4.10 when we got in there. Veggie spicy skewers, cold with a wrap that was stale and no pineapple as described on the menu. The other meal we ordered was a chick less burger. Onion rings were cold and like cardboard and the bap was stale. No one came to ask how our meals were and we left most of the meal. A table behind us had their meal within 20 minutes and that was a steak. Very expensive, waste of money and will not return.

First visit back to the area in several years, we used to love eating here , however much has changed with an app for ordering food and drinks now but if it says option not available you need to ask staff as it might be just one ingredient not available . Unfortunately staff need some training on how to smile and be friendly. Food from previous guests still on the floor and not swept up. toilets were smelly, floors wet and not cleaned, no rota visible for regular checks. Sadly i don,t think we will be back .
