First class place and tour. Brian our tour Guide gave us the best experience ever. Very knowledgeable and witty. Highly recommend this as a place to visit.
This distillery was a great place to visit. The staff was lovely and very informative. They have a bit of food if you need a bite. The peet in their blended Irish whiskey make them stand out against others.
We only visited the café when walking the maritime mile. The café is dog friendly. Unsure about the distillery tours, but we bought a bottle to take home
Visited this distillery here for a tour of the Thompson Dock Yard. Very impressive visit. We also did a whiskey tasting. We were given the opportunity to tour with employee Johnny who was very good, fun, interesting and great! Highly recommended visit! Thank you Johnny!
Beautiful facility and memorial! Finally made it! worth the wait. devious dram and great staff. very affordable at 5 quid a glass.
Currently closed while the Distillery renovates the building. Very frustrating as it is not communicated anywhere. Quite sad that a piece of history is left to the mercy of a for profit business who has no regard for the general public.
Seeing the scale of the dry dock really gives you a scale of how big the Titanic was. Shame the distillery who own the pump house and dock was still closed when we went so couldn't go around it.
Lovely place, highly recommended.
Basically a cafe, pump house with nice old pumps and a video, then a very big historic hole in the ground. This is worth doing is you want to complete the Titanic experience and fancy a long walk. The good news is that it's only three pounds and the dry dock itself it's impressive, but not much has been done with it other than a few signs. The staff in the café were bored and unenthusiastic. There are no lights at the attraction so don't come too late in the winter. As I would recommend doing it with HMS Caroline which is next to it and a very well presented interesting attraction.
Pretty long walk and kinda cool to do if you are enjoying all the other titanic stuff. Definitely brings it all in full circle. Pay extra for the little tram because it is FAR from the titanic experience.it is currently being remodeled so keep that in mind as well.
