    Tried to book a Xmas meal here and this is how it went Can I book a table for tomorrow night please for the Xmas meal. No you have to give 48 hours notice. So I Called the people we are going with, changed he day fine so called Sandys back. You have to tell us what you want fom the menu. Called people again and confirmed meals. Called Sandys again and was told can’t place it over the phone you have to come in. Can you just write it down? Ok we could do. But you will need to come in and pay a deposit. Can’t you do that over the phone? No you have to come in. I gave up and went somewhere that actually wants our business !!

    Went for Sunday lunch.. No mash potato even though it was only 12.40 ?. They said sorry but would we be ok with extra roast potatoes. Said yes ok fine ....meal came with only 3 roasts on it gravy like water. What a load of crap not worth £13 each. Don't waste your money go to a proper venue.

    Great food which doesn’t comprise on quality but is well priced, good selection of drinks and nice decor with booths and regular seating area. Has a sports bar vibe with sky TV and a good amount of TVs but without it being overbearing if you’re not there for the TV. Cocktails are a good selection and well priced. Free parking on non match days.

    Massive portions that broke me. The service was superb,very clean and a very comfortable bar/restaurant. Honestly I was very surprised at how good it was, I think being in a football club I wasn't expecting much, I couldn't believe how wrong I was. Definitely going again.

    Went here to try the new Christmas menu they had just launched, (turns out we were customers 1 & 2), and it was absolutely SUPERB. We had the full 3 courses, which is only £18 and everything was beautiful, the food is piping hot, tastes great and you get a good sized portion. The chef, (Lenny), even came out to talk to us to make sure we were happy with everything, she was so lovely. The staff are so attentive, and Mandy at the bar always made sure we weren't waiting for drinks and did we want another round. I can't fault this place at all, great service, excellent food and warm and friendly staff, we will definitely be back!!

    Went here with a work do. Good atmosphere. Beef cob was lovely, chips were a little dry. Pool table too close to the bar. Decent booze. Would go again.

    We went as my son wanted to treat us, we made it simple and just ordered steaks, best steak I have had in a long time, had to thank the chef and staff they made us welcome and comfortable, not a place we would normally have visited, but we will go again if they would have us, not sure what they cooked the chips in but even they where delicious

    Had a wonderful Sunday lunch here at Sandys Reasonably priced and portions, highly recommend trying for Sunday dinner. The three meat roast was delicious and left just enough room for a pudding. Vegetarian options are available. Service was great and a nice relaxed atmosphere. Will definitely be visiting again.
