   ZION OR HEAVEN ON EARTH GABRIELLE - THE BARTENDER - THE ANGEL THAT TENDERED TO ME Walking into Be At One feels like stepping into another dimension—one where the worries of the outside world melt away, and you're left with nothing but good vibes, great drinks, and an atmosphere that can only be described as heavenly. Gabrielle, the bartender, or should I say, the angel, was more than just someone behind the bar—she was a guide through the world of mixology. With a warm smile and an effortless charm, she made the experience personal, almost ethereal. You could tell she loved what she was doing, and it showed in every carefully crafted drink she served. And speaking of drinks, I went with the Raspberry Beret, the most popular cocktail on the menu. It’s been holding its place for at least five years, despite the menu undergoing at least three changes a year. That says a lot about a drink—it’s not just a trend; it’s a staple, a legend in its own right. The blend of flavours was smooth yet exciting, familiar yet surprising. It’s the kind of drink that makes you savor every sip, appreciating the craftsmanship behind it. The bar itself radiates a golden glow, reflecting off the endless bottles lining the shelves like treasures waiting to be discovered. The dim lighting, the pulsing music, the buzz of lively conversations—it all comes together to create an environment that feels electric and intimate at the same time. Whether you're here to unwind, celebrate, or simply soak in the magic of the place, Be At One doesn’t disappoint.    My second time visiting Be at one and unfortunately i don’t think there will be a third time. They free pour at this bar which is fine by me but the bar tenders kept messing up our drinks and it was upsetting. The prices are already high at this place so if I’m pay £18 for two drinks at least get it right. We had some drinks with less alcohol and other drinks with sooo much in it. It was a complete mess. The bartenders were drinking while on the job so it doesn’t surprise me that they kept getting it wrong. When we tried calling them out the guy with glasses just poured a tone of alcohol in our glasses. We weren’t asking for more alcohol, all we wanted was our drinks done with the correct measurements. We left immediately after. The only plus thing about our experience was how friendly and polite the bouncers were.

   Visited on a Friday night (16/12). Queued outside for a while which was expected as it was a weekend but when we finally got inside, we could barely move as so many people were crammed inside. This meant the atmosphere was not fun and definitely not comfortable, we couldn't even stand still without our arms being nudged and spilling our drinks, let alone attempt to dance. This also made me seriously question health, safety and capacity restrictions. In addition to this, the wait time for drinks was prolonged due to the bartenders stopping every 5 minutes to dance and to throw ice in the air over themselves and everybody waiting to buy drinks - I understand the fun in this but it gets old quickly when good and prompt service is sacrificed as a result. When I was finally served, drinks prices were extortionate, £18 for two drinks (two single vodka and sodas). Inflation and the price of living could be a factor but seriously? We left shortly after and it is highly unlikely we will return which is a shame as we've been before and had an enjoyable experience. The only good point I must mention is how polite and friendly the bouncers were.
