The rudest bar staff ever! We had booked 2 prosecco pong tables for 20 people for our Christmas party, before I made the booking I called the walrus and asked whether 2 prosecco bottles were enough for 20 people for 2 prosecco pong tables which they confirmed. I went online to book it (there was no options to add on any extra bottles anyway!). We got to the walrus after our meal and firstly weren’t allowed in as there tills weren’t working. We explained that we had a booking which we had already paid for and they eventually let us down. They then gave us the plastic cups and prosecco pong accessories, we poured the prosecco out and there wasn’t enough for the 2 tables, I was annoyed about this as I had asked this. I went to the bar to explain this and they refused to help, they said that’s what I had booked! I explained that i spoke to their booking team so they should take some responsibility as that’s what they advised me but they didn’t care. Their attitude was just rude and uncaring! I then asked to speak to a manager but there wasn’t one, so some woman came out who made sure she stayed on the step standing over to me trying and intimidate me, instead of actually trying to help or listen to the issue she just blamed me for not doing the booking correctly. She was constantly waving her hands across my face in an agressive manner, I’ve never experienced such bad customer service. In the end we just played ONE game of prosecco Pong on ONE table rather than the 2 we had paid for and booked as we didn’t have enough prosecco left. If they had practiced better customer service, we would have stayed there most of the night.

We last came here in the 80s, when it was the Jungle Bar. It hasn't changed. 80s and 90s music with two for one cocktails. Great!

Love this bar! So quirky and fun. They play great music and have quite a small dance floor so does get quite cramped. Great selection of drinks/cocktails. Can also play beer pong if you get there early enough. You do have to go down a set of stairs to get in. Would recommend

Wednesday's used to be great but the music recently has been pretty awful, I don't go to an alt night for generic club music I can get anywhere else tbh

Took some out of town mates here as normally the music is great but the music tonight was awful. Dj played nothing but slow beats all evening, tried to wait it out for it to get good but never did. The music in the restaurant we’d been in prior was better. Multiple people went up to request songs or ask for something to dance to but he refused to even look, completely ignoring people. We left along side a few groups leaving due to his attitude and awful playlist.

Went in and it was early so quite, which was good for us as wanted a quick drink. Had 2 4 £12 cocktails and had long island ice tea as had to have the same, which was no problem. Problem was the cocktails were poor, just tasted of sugar and I have had many long island ice teas and usually you taste the booze, this one could have none in it. Decor cool but because in a basement it was musty smell.

Good vibes and good music, we made the most of the cocktail deal before 9pm (they were strong!) and hired a beer pong table. Overall a fun night and good value :)

Great atmosphere, with beer pong or cocktail pong, a dance floor and booths. The music is a great mix depending on the night you go. Really cool aesthetics, with neon lights and posters. Drinks are delicious and staff are friendly, good place for a boogie without having the stress of going to a club.
