   First time in the area visiting. We didn’t know about a taxi service until we searched one! We came across Marathon Taxis. Looked legit & as business owners (us) we could see they cared about their customers. We called and they answered. We asked for a taxi to Totnes (at very last minute) from Dartington. We called and they were very polite and friendly on the phone. Coming from a town, we didn’t expect for a taxi service to so busy, we asked for a taxi (like it would come asap) … little did we know, it’s not like that! They expressed they were busy and may not be able to - but they wanted to help us, seemed like they worked through their break to help us (and go the extra mile!) Hats off to these people! Also - we accidentally left our keys in the cab and the driver went out of his way to get them back to us! We 100% recommend this company. Caring, friendly, respectful and genuine. Bonus - they are dog friendly! Thank you for having our cavapoo on board! The taxi driver was called Steve, thank you for doing everything you could for us to be able to experience a great weekend away in Totnes!

   I would strongly recommend Marathon Taxis. We used them for several trips as a group over a long weekend to/from wedding events. The communication in advance was super easy and clear; they were reliable and punctual when it came to the journeys themselves; we also had great fun with each driver, who were lovely; and the prices were reasonable.
