Wouldn't accept newspaper voucher despite me never having an issue in countless other stores. Very frustrating when I has made the trip specially.
Good selection of on the go items and cakes / treats
Clearly states 24 hours on the site and on signs located outside the store. Was told the store in fact closes everyday at 10pm. Very frustrated having traveled with no indication that the budgens would in fact be closed.
Look out for prices inside the shop. 1 same product have 3 different prices. This was reported to stuff members 3 times over last week. Today I went there on my lunch and they still selling same food (bacon wraps) with 3 different prices. £1.60, £1.69 and £2.19. Today I’ve taken photo of the prices as a proof.
Can't thank them enough. My wife went in to labour early hours of the morning. I initially went to the 24hr Tescos but they were shut until 6am. I then went to budgens and the man allowed me in to quickly get some snacks for the hospital. Absolutely can not thank them enough as it made this moment a lot easier for me
