Shameful! They put alcohol free beer in the free from section not realising the difference. I was not given a receipt either - therefore I cannot return. The staff need to be better trained.
Great little store, with a fresh squeezed orange juice machine, great fun and value. Nice assortment of food, snacks and goods.
Nita and Kavita need training on the question 25 rules. Pick and choose when they are ID’ing as I have been served by both individuals over the past 12 months multiple times but yesterday they just fancied ID’ing me.. twice in 1 day? Unpleasant experience and service.
It seems they only employ machines that do not work properly and there are no people to help. I love self checkouts but they either need to work or have a member or staff there to sort things out.
Coming in this morning there was only one colleague on the tills, running about to do the self checkouts all by himself and I couldn't see anybody else about to help. I didn't catch his name but he wears glasses. I would love to thank him for the effort in still providing and quick and friendly service! Perhaps in future more colleagues around would be better
I visit this branch most days, and always impressed by Hopes professional and helpful customer service. I'm also surprised and to be honest pretty shocked! that head office hasn't spotted Hopes potential, and promoted him into a training/HR or similar role. Seems absolute madness to me, how someone with such great interpersonal skills hasn't been snapped up.
Convenient Sainsbury’s local store with plenty of food to go options (meal deals etc). They also have a fresh sushi counter and a fresh pizza counter too! Hot coffee machine and orange juice dispenser available too! Also, there are many self checkouts so queue times are never too long.
Good spot for the basics but not a huge selection of things. Also, not sure if it’s because of covid and maybe they stock less stuff but they always seem to be out of prepared foods no matter how early you go. They do carry Tony’s Chocolonely bars though and the staff is friendly.
