Co-op offers excellent value for members, with weekly deals through the members app. The discounts are genuinely useful, especially on essentials. Only drawback is being limited to just two offers at a time—would be great to have more flexibility. Still a solid local shop choice.

Shelves mostly filled, some aisles and exits blocked by cages etc that were just sitting there, nobody working on them. Has a free cash machine inside, small flowers section, small "fresh" bakery section, Costa coffee machine, mix of self service and staffed checkouts. Apparently for Ben and Jerry's or Haagen Daaz ice cream you have to ask a member of staff? Don't know if that's a supply or theft issue.

staff are friendly and doing their absolute best WITHOUT a much needed security guard on the door! on most of my visits there are shoplifters, times are hard I get it, drug addiction exits everywhere especially in deprived areas like ours but to leave your staff so vulnerable, well shame on you CO OP! I witnessed a particularly nasty shop lifter today and the two ladies that work there had to wrestle the lifter at the door he had three boxes of stuff in his arms ,I heard a customer say "why tackle him?" and I agree but it comes down to morals and the responsibilty that the two workers feel for their jobs which is commendable in this lackadaisical climate we all exist in. As I walked home I asked myself "what is it going to take for this shop get a security guard?" and we all know the grim headline that would make Co Op do something , perhaps.......... I am filmed every time I pay for my shopping!!!! employ a human to protect your staff?! the name is CO OP ? There is ZERO co operation with your staff who are begging for security!

I live local and use all the time. Staff are great. I am especially grateful for everything they did during the pandemic - they worked hard to keep our community fed and watered. I can always get what I need.

Staff need proper training. When you pay at the till they throw the till receipt straight to the bin. They don’t ask if we need it or not. Most of them never say hello or thanks. Talk to the customers very rude. Better coop send them for a training and educate how to deal with customers.

Appalling customer service. Self service tills weren’t working as always went to the till and the short asian woman definitely needs to be trained on how to treat customers with some decency. Refused to serve me for no reason and completely ignored that i was there continuing to serve everyone else?? Definitely avoid and go to a local corner shop.

Okay, it's not the perfect store. I have seen people stealing stuff on so many occasions. They have to deal with some really dodgy customers. As my kids describe it - SHADY! Serves my needs just fine though.

Worst Co-op I've visited and I usually love Co-op, being northern. If the self service machines don't apply the deals, the scales dont work or you need to cancel an item, the staff just clear the error on the self service machine from behind the counter without even coming over to understand or fix the issue, so you still have the issue and still require assistance. Has happen multiple times to me at this branch. Not sure if this specific Co-op are trained to avoid self serve machines and make the experience worst by ignoring customers requiring help on them? Who knows!. #BadService #avoid
