The prices are outrageous. 70% +/- more than anywhere else. It's only worth going in if you need to buy one item in a hurry. The staff is friendly.
Absolutely beyond unacceptable that you deliver GREY ham! It was gone off! Tried to call but none of you could be asked to listen and pretended you couldn’t hear me on the phone!!
I just left with a bruised leg. I slipped on some cream on the floor, and there were no warning signs. No employee helped me up or apologized for the situation. The employees hate working there because they don't offer assistance. I have photos and videos of what happened. My biggest anger is that no one helped me up from the floor or apologized for the situation. They should inspect this store. I'm young, what if you're an elderly person? You'd be in trouble! My leg is injured, and I almost sprained my foot. My body hurts from the impact I took on the floor. I literally swam in some messed-up cream on the floor.
Random prices, today my usual pitta bread was at £3 when i have alwasys paid £1.5 until few weeks ago. How can it cost double now? Plus the price in every other supermarket is £1.5. I left with nothing, this is just ridiculous.
Very poor customer service! One of the self service tills was blocked as someone scaned an item and left it unfinished and I asked man standing behind the glass where alcohol is to closed this transaction so I can use the till. Man came to my till and struggled to closed this transaction so I asked him to take me to the till behind the glass. Man refused saying that someone is there now standing so that customer is first. I said, no I was first so he should help me with my shopping. Man responded that I can just wait for another till to be free. This Man requires more training how to acting in this kind of situation!
While I applaud Co-op’s inclusiveness, staffing a shop exclusively with people with antisocial personality disorder does make the shopping experience rather unpleasant
This is the worst Co op!! Never answered the phone!! Called 15 times this evening to get them to substitute my white loaf with any white bread that they had!! So looks like I cannot make a sandwich as the most important part was out of stock!! But still on the menu online. How you not answer the phone?? I want to give this store -0 stars!!!
Just wanted to share my experience from today at your store. I just popped in for a quick shop with my 2 years old, he was very moody and started nearly to cry when we were waiting in the queue. The lady at the till was serving an other customer but when she heard that my son was about to cry straight away she reacted, she gave him some paper cocomelon toys which made my baby so happy straight away. These kind of little things make such a big difference, she really went that extra mile to make customers happy & help a struggling mum. I just want to say thank you again for her kindness.
I called regarding missing items in my delivery and spoke to someone called Tua a team leader, he was the most unprofessional and rudest person I’ve even spoken to in coop, spoke absolute rubbish and was 0 helpful. He definitely needs to be trained on customer service otherwise I will most certainly not be the last unhappy customer and reconsidering doing my orders with coop in the future.
Generally this Co-op is a shambles but its so convenient for us I still end up visiting a couple of times a week. The tills are the worst part, 2 barely functioning self-service checkouts that only take card payment, and one staffed till means its not often you can escape a big queue. Also be careful of the offers as several times I have bought items apparently on offer only to be charged full price, especially the cat food 2 for £6 offer :(
