   Lovely little place! We had an hour to kill whilst our car was charging and this place was close (and it had good Google reviews). We were not disappointed! The restaurant staff were really friendly and welcoming. As we were quite early, we chose from the early-bird menu and whilst the choice was limited, the food was really good. They achieved the sweet spot of being efficient and prompt with the food, but also without feeling rushed. The timing was perfect for us to return to our freshly recharged vehicle. Recommended!

My recent visit was a journey through flavours, textures, and impeccable service that left me eager to return. I began with the Creamy Garlic Mushrooms, served alongside perfectly toasted sourdough bread. The rich, velvety sauce, infused with just the right amount of garlic, paired beautifully with the warm, crusty bread. It was a comforting yet refined start to the meal, setting high expectations for what was to come. For the main course, I chose the Creedy Carver Confit Duck Leg, served with a redcurrant and star anise jus, accompanied by dauphinoise potatoes and red cabbage. The duck was exquisitely tender, with its savory richness complemented by the subtle sweetness and aromatic warmth of the jus. The dauphinoise potatoes were indulgent, creamy, and flawlessly seasoned, while the red cabbage added a vibrant, tangy contrast that tied the dish together. Dessert was a showstopper: Raspberry Cheesecake. The balance of tart raspberries against the creamy, luscious cheesecake was a triumph. It was neither too sweet nor too heavy, leaving the perfect lingering note to end the meal. Beyond the food, the atmosphere at Frou Frou is enchanting. The ambiance is warm and inviting, with an attention to detail that creates a sense of understated elegance. The staff deserve particular praise for their friendliness and professionalism, striking a perfect balance between attentiveness and discretion. Frou Frou offers not just a meal but an experience.    I stumbled across this place when I first arrived in Tiverton and the owner was so friendly that I made a booking for food the next night. It did not disappoint. The food was absolutely top notch - their chef is extremely talented. Also, the front of house staff here are charming. They genuinely care about their customers and it really shows through. I hope I can return.

   What a gem! I was extremely impressed by their genuine friendly service, I hadn't experienced that level of attentiveness for a long time. The atmosphere made of it a very relaxing experience. I ordered the steak, which was cooked to perfection They have a great selection of desserts and cocktails. I know I will be going there again soon. Highly recommended!

   We were given a voucher for Christmas 2021, only just got around to using it and we were so NOT disappointed. Good attentive, but not overbearing, staff. Tasty, flavoursome food, went with good intentions of only having two courses but so impressed with the quality I had dessert and partner had the cheeseboard. Will be going again with guests.
