Having picked up my dog after being with the groomers for a hour and three quarters I was shocked at my dogs groom to say the least. Despite my asking the groomer to cut as little as possible off my dogs coat she has just been completely shaved, which must have taken all of 5 minutes. I paid an extra £10 to have her nails clipped and they are still long with a fraction taken off . I will never take either of my dogs there again.

They had ear protection while dogs did not. Had a peek at them during their groom and where being brushed very roughly no care for the dogs, on the form they ticked that both dogs were ‘normal’ when we had said we had nervous dogs (visibly so) which they brushed off. When we came to pick up they had not put my dogs martingale collar on properly and it was a strangulation hazard. Will not be bringing my dogs back and will advice others to do the same. Dogs fur looks choppy just not very professional groom

We have recently had an awful experience here and have been through the official complaints procedure. Our dog is very anxious which we explained to the staff on arrival. To our dismay the staff member immediately cut 2 of his nails too short. This meant they had cut through his nerves causing him to cry in pain. At the time my wife was holding him and he began bleeding all over her and the floor. They had to stop and we were absolutely traumatised. Our dog was shaking and scared to death. The member of staff turned to another member and said 'i think i cut too short'. Then they took him behind the counter as they panicked and applied first aid to his paw. We are no strangers to nail problems. He has broken one before when playing at the park. But the worst thing that can happen to a dog with anxiety is to be hurt by a trained person. This has implications beyond that one incident, making it very difficult in the future when trying to get him to trust people. We did receive an apology and we were given assurances that an investigation had taken place and that further preventative measures would be put in place. We were offered a £15 voucher which we declined as it felt like an insult in comparison to the stress caused to our dog and his future trust in people. We will now never return to any groom room.
