   We didn’t want to leave! The cottage just felt like home. Every single thing you could possibly need was there. Laura was on hand instantly to answer questions and provide solutions at top speed. In the evening the cottage was even more welcoming after coming home late from a wedding. Friends and family popped in and all said how inviting and quirky it was. We will definitely stay again, saying how lovely it would be at Christmas. Super accommodation and more.

   Amazing holiday home . Very responsive and friendly hosts. The cottage felt like home with everything you need to for a great stay. Close to the Forrest for walking and a bus stop nearby with regular buses so no real need for a car. Restaurant within walking distance with an an outdoor area next to the river. Very peaceful location. Would certainly stay again and was sad to leave after our month stay . Well recommended.

   We had a wonderful 5 night stay in this beautiful cottage. Stylishly decorated and very cosy with large sitting room and kitchen. Comfy bed and fluffy towels…lovely! It has everything you need and Laura is a very professional and responsive host. We really loved our stay and would highly recommend this cottage.

   Ropemakers Cottage is beautifully renovated holiday home with a fascinating historic past. Everything you need for a comfy stay has been thoughtfully provided. It is in an excellent location for exploring Sherwood Forest and the surrounding area. Highly recommended.

   Lovely cottage, spotlessly clean. Super comfy bed. An amazing welcome pack with a very generous selection of refreshments. Ollerton, is a beautiful village, with a buzzing village pub and gorgeous greenery surrounding you. A choice of 2 supermarkets within 5 minutes, walks from your doorstep, a short trip away from Sherwood Forest. What more could we ask for?! We will definitely be returning.

   We have stayed at Ropemaker’s cottage twice now and have thoroughly enjoyed each stay. Laura has been an incredible host, being informative and timely in communications as well as preparing the cottage for our arrival (thoroughly clean and tidy, as well as providing essentials - fruit, bread, milk, wine, etc).
