After lessons at David Lloyd and Leander and a brief move away from Nottingham, i returned to join RSC on recommendation from friends. I found more than a swim club. I found a whole community support network, lifelong friends, enough sessions to keep me and girls swimming, and a group of people who light up my week every Saturday morning. I have been volunteering as a teacher since 2018 and I haven't looked back.

My friend told me about this swimming club for lessons after a few disappointing experiences at other lessons and I’m so so pleased I signed my kids up. I have seen amazing progress with them and the staff/volunteers are fantastic and really supportive too. Highly recommend !

Both my sons have attended this club. The staff are fab, so kind and skilled and they make lessons fun . At the end of each term, lessons are handed over to inflatables and water polo - one of their favourite lessons! The gala held once a year has a mix of straight forward swimming and fun races and all are welcome to join in! It is a very inclusive club with children of all ages, abilities and needs. Why not give it a go?!

The swim club is excellent. My three children have all learned with the club, and my eldest now volunteers - helping with the lessons for younger kids. Every lesson has a fully qualified swim teacher but in addition there are young volunteers actually in the pool helping the kids learn. Class sizes are small so your kid really progresses quickly. The atmosphere within the club is supportive, nurturing, family orientated, and fun. It is run entirely by volunteers who do a truly amazing job. This isn’t a competitive swim club / the kids are not competing in lots of galas etc - this is more a club which is all about learning, about improving your swimming technique, building your stamina and confidence as you get older, and then about helping others to learn. I can’t recommend Rushcliffe Swimming Club enough - it’s been wonderful for my kids. There are also open family swim sessions available only to club members on Sunday mornings where kids can play and adults can do lengths. And a session on Tuesday evenings where teenagers and adults can swim. Even better, the membership cost is really sensible and it’s cheaper than most other lessons available - yet the teaching quality is so much higher, and the feeling of community and support is such a bonus. I can’t recommend the club enough!

A great volunteer-run club! All three of our children swim there. The classes have no more than 8 or 9 children, and the little-pool swimmers (~5 yrs old) usually have 1 or 2 helpers in the pool as well as the teacher on the side.

This really is a swimming club with a difference. There is a friendly community feeling, supportive teachers and a free club swim every Sunday morning. My three kids learnt to swim here and gave them water confidence and great technique. Highly recommended

Outstanding swimming club filled with highly experienced volunteer teachers who inject fun into the lessons. Lessons are based on Swim England levels and I can highly recommend.
