Deborah has been amazing with me during my swimming lessons. She took her time in teaching me every move. She listened to my concerns and fears and helped me overcome them. I feel confident, assured and positive after my swimming lessons with Deborah. I cannot thank her enough. I have a holiday planned very soon and i can not wait to swim on my own and feel free. Thank you once again Deborah for your hard work and commitment to help build my confidence. I really appreciate it. Xx

I just want to give a huge shoutout to Deborah, my swimming instructor! She has been absolutely incredible in helping me learn how to swim. From the very first lesson, she made me feel comfortable and confident in the water. Her teaching style is clear and supportive, and she really knows how to break things down step by step. Deborah's patience and encouragement made all the difference, especially when I was feeling nervous. She tailored each lesson to my pace and skill level, which helped me progress quickly. I can't thank her enough for her dedication and expertise. If you're looking for a fantastic swimming instructor, Deborah is definitely the one to go to!

So- today- we decided to take a trip to the East Midlands Hilton pool- as we usually go to Jury's Inn (now Leonardo) East Midlands pool, but it was shut today. Upon arrival, all seemed well, except there was a swimming instructor from 'swim now', who was quite abrupt and rude. She spoke to my children in a not very nice manner when they were swimming (not interfering with her lesson, just swimming) and she angrily told them off. She also mentioned that she would 'get them kicked out' as one of the boys that she was currently teaching was engaging in a game of catch, with a soft ball, with my children. But the swim now lady didn't like it, as the ball was not supposed to be in the pool according to her, although the receptionist for the pool didn't seem bothered by it. At one point, a boy that she was teaching threw the ball near her, and she angrily exclaimed at my son, who did not even throw the ball, that it was HIS fault and he would be 'kicked out' if it happened again. Very rude lady, and just seemed to be looking to get people into trouble or tell them off.

I would have rather waited to give a review when I have mastered my problem but as this is Swim Now's second request, I'll review my journey so far. I don't trust the water. I'm 64 and have tried several times to swim during my life but have failed because I didn't address the fear first. I have had 4 lessons with Susan so far and she listened to my concerns and started me right at the beginning by just getting used to the feel of the water. Since then I have managed to put my head under water, I can float, I have learned how to stand up and propel myself forward which is all great but I'm not yet able to do any of that without my instructor being within arms reach. Early days but she says I have made lots of progress. Susan has been patient throughout and seems to understand my foolish fear whilst pushing me a little farther each time. Two steps forward and one step back I'm afraid but I hope I'm close to achieving my aim of beginning and ending the swim without help.

I have just finished the 3 lesson course at the hilton east mids with Andy. I would like to say it is one of the best things ive done. If you cant swim i couldnt recommend swim now highly enough. As a 47 year old who was never taught to swim, and who had a genuine dislike of anything to do with swimming pools, i couldnt even put my head under the water. This week i went to my local pool twice and practiced on my own, which i would never have done before, and i now have the confidence to go in the pool on holiday this year and enjoy it which is exactly why i decided to do it. What ive learnt has just exceeded all my expectations. If you cant swim i would recommend Swim Now without hesitation Andy was a brilliant teacher.

On a recent business trip I decided to spend my evenings improving my swimming skills. I enrolled in the 3x60min crash course to improve my swimming technique. (I was already familiar with Swim Now as I previously completed the full course of lessons at the Manchester Hilton) The quality of the tuition I received was excellent, Susan took the time to explain each exercise and demonstrate the correct skills. I can't thank Swim Now enough for teaching me to swim and improving my stroke. Highly recommend!

I want to do some Triathlons next summer but was nervous about the swim aspect so I signed up for Swim Now and absolutely loved it! Chris, my tutor, is a top bloke and I genuinely looked forward to each Friday session. The improvement was pretty dramatic; in just a few sessions I improved ten fold and am now more than confident to go and enter a competitive swim competition.
