We cannot praise Cornish Paws highly enough. Our pup Lily has been registered since we adopted her in March and we have always had positive experiences. She went in today for her spay and they handled the entire process so well. We received a call yesterday afternoon to remind us of all the essential things to remember pre-op, talked us through pricing very transparently and were clear on time frames for each step. We dropped her off at 8.30am and received a call from the vet about 2 hours later to let us know she was out and all had gone well. We then got a further call a little bit later to let us know the time we could go and collect her. When my partner went to collect her she'd been fed and watered and taken to go to the toilet and was a very happy (albeit a bit dozy!) girl. They gave him all the after-care information we need and booked her in for a follow up next week. We could not recommend Cornish Paws more! Thank you for taking such good care of our girl!

My very first visit to Cornish paws, the vet Felix came out and took my cat carrier for me from the waiting room. Introduced himself with a smile and enthusiasm. He let my cat wander out of the carrier at his own will and we chatted about my concerns. He was very thoughtful with his line of questioning building a picture of my cats health. He was able to put some worries to rest and explain everything to detail in a manner I could understand clearly. I never felt rushed or that any questions were silly. I have never seen my cat so relaxed at the vets he wasn't stressed or trying to hide in his box. By far the best visit to the vets we have ever had and we have been to a few over the ten years of my cats life. Never has a vet treated him so kindly he never restricted his movement or forced anything, he let my cat come to him in his own time. I'm so impressed and refreshed by his approach and wouldn't consider going elsewhere, now we have had the 5* treatment. Thankyou Felix for sharing your kindness and knowledge!

I have nothing but positive things to say about Cornish paws. We have had AMAZING treatment from the moment we joined having experienced some really poor treatment elsewhere locally. The whole team is friendly, helpful and efficient and we have full confidence in them. THANK YOU!

We registered our elderly cat with Cornish Paws after being very disappointed with the quality of care received from our previous practice and having heard some recommendations from other people. From the very beginning the whole team at Cornish Paws were just beyond amazing. Our precious Toby was already in his early 20s, and whenever he needed to visit the staff were always welcoming and wonderful with him - always remembering his name and his personality traits, and always giving the impression that they were genuinely pleased to see him. All of the staff are brilliant, and we always felt super confident in the standard of care that Toby received. When the time eventually and sadly came for Toby to leave us - at the grand old age of 24 - the entire practice could not have been more supportive. From the initial discussions with Matt about how maybe Toby's time had arrived, through the actual appointment where we needed to say goodbye - throughout which Bill was amazingly caring and gentle, making a very difficult time just a little bit easier. Cornish Paws is without doubt the best veterinary practice we have ever used, and we have not hesitated to register the latest four-legged addition to our family. The whole team are kind and supportive, and they treat your pet as they would their own. Honestly we cannot recommend them enough.

AMAZING! What a find. So lucky to have picked this practice for a second opinion. Kind, caring, compassionate and full of knowledge. Only saw Matt yesterday for the first time and have recommended him to all my family and friends. He is an absolute natural with dogs, I usually have to wrestle my dog to be seen but he was so calm she just sat there and let him totally examine her. Thank you for such a positive experience.

I moved my dog to Cornish Paws after being disappointed by a different local veterinary surgery and receiving multiple word of mouth recommendations. To date Nelson has been seen by Matt, Zoe and Bill multiple times, in addition to locum vets Felix and Sam, and I have nothing but good feedback to say from each experience. Nelson is a particularly nervous dog due to previous experience at a different vets. However, Matt and his team have been nothing but accommodating and work really well with him taking extra time and stopping when needed. I would highly recommend this practice to anyone looking for a compassionate, friendly, family run vets.

Nothing is too much trouble when it comes to looking after your pets. Matt will turn up out-of-hours and he was excellent in sorting out my very ill (and quite old) Border Terrier who is now fighting fit again. I have two dogs and mostly, fortunately, I only need routine stuff (boosters, flea and worm treatments etc.) but everyone is super friendly, helpful and make every visit very easy.
