Food and cocktails were great we would recommend the espresso martinis they are one of best we have had in Belfast. Tapas was also lovely and they sensed the vibe and turned the music down to chat volume which was great. We loved the atmosphere and the vibe of this place but they had a hen booked in straight after our bottomless brunch and we very much felt that we were being kicked out and rushed towards the end. We went to the toilet and canvas and other people were in our seats. I don’t think this was really river rooms fault and more the fault of the person hosting the paint and sip but maybe leaving 30 mins between brunch and next session would be idea going forward. We would’ve happily stayed longer and had a few more cocktails had a bar only option been there!

My daughter's hen party had booked the karaoke room for 1.5hrs 2 jugs of cocktails supplied. Then upstairs for dinner, everything was perfect. The staff were so friendly and efficient. Fabulous night. Highly recommended.

Amazing venue for a hen party! Booked through Last Night of Freedom for 19th July, and had the best time. The food was delicious, cocktail towers and Prosecco on arrival was lovely- first stop of the hen do and set us off in the perfect tone! Karleigh, our bartender, was the BEST- made sure we were sorted for everything, and when it turned out we were the only ones going to be in the room she got karaoke sorted for us. She deserves a huge raise for her fab service (and putting up with our musical theatre performances). Would recommend to anyone!

My two daughters and I had the most delicious 3 - course Christmas meal and cocktails here on Sat 9th December 2023 before going wedding dress shopping. The staff were lovely and very attentive while the restaurant, itself, was subtly festive. We felt we had discovered a hidden gem and would highly recommend the River Rooms to anyone looking for a special place to relax and enjoy superb food.

Brilliant I've been here a couple of times now. A great venue for a girls night out. Food is lovely and Cloud Nine bar very intimate and great for a small crowd. Staff friendly and welcoming. Will def be back.

We were here last night for tipsy tea and was honestly incredible. It was fantastic value. Mini soups, sandwiches, scones , cakes, sausages. There was so much food a good choice of cocktails and the service was fantastic. They even catered last minute to our vegetarian friend with no hesitance. Wee touches like the fancy cocktails and getting some shots with our bill really added to the experience. Definitely will be back and have already recommended to my friends!

Won't be back. Honestly so disappointed. Staff so rude apart from one chirpy member who was great! Food that was arranged didn't come out, was told they sent up 72 plates but each table honestly had about 5 plates of small tapas and when I questioned it they said actually they should have been charging me more?! Guests left starving and left to go elsewhere. When we arrived an hour before to decorate the staff were rude and said we were very early even though that was the time arranged with the owner. Then when it came to the payment they tried to give me a higher price than what was quoted 2 months previous! Also wasn't warned that our suite was cash only but sure they could bring me a visa up when I had to pay? Just a joke. Never again.

Had a gorgeous meal and cocktails. A very reasonable price of £20 for two courses and a cocktail. Caesar salad was delicious, so much chicken, apple crumble for dessert normally served with custard, which I don't like... Not a problem here, I was give a choice of having ice-cream instead... Will definitely return

Went for dinner on Saturday. What a fabulous place. Staff are fabulous, friendly, attentive and can't do enouh for you, answering questions and really accommodating. The food is amazing. 2 of us had goats cheese fritters with beetroot to start. We both could have eaten a bucket load. The others had ginger and parsnip soup and agreed it was very light and flavourful. It came with homemade bread that we all tried and it was gorgeous. The owners do their own baking and they're fantastic. Should be on Bakeoff! I had lamb for main and the others had turkey and ham. Nicest gravy I've had in any restaurant. Loads of lamb and really well cooked. Could very easily have just had a massive bowl of spuds with the gravy. I had my friends veg so sadly I couldn't manage dessert because Previously I'd had the sticky toffee pudding and again, nicest I've ever had. Others had cheesecake, Christmas pudding and sorbet, all delicious and home made. The sorbet was the nicest presented sorbet she'd ever seen. This is definitely a gem of a place. Cocktails are also amazing. Good luck to the owners. Go and visit, check out their Facebook. Have heard great things about their Tipsy Tea Party so will most definitely be back. Wish I could give more than 5 stars. Thank you to the lovely staff and massive compliments to the chef and team.
