   Choosing an engagement ring is not something I feel anyone feels prepared for. I spent months talking to friends, googling what to do but I just needed to bite the bullet and go to some jewelry shops. I went to a few before Charlotte Cornelius but none of them could design what I wanted. I had heard good things about this shop so I booked an appointment to get a some support and sat down with Charlotte to discuss my design. I was a little nervous for a multitude of reasons, mainly the pressure that after an appointment I would feel pressured into buying from them even I felt like I wasn't ready to commit. I had an appointment with Charlotte and she was brilliant at making me feel ease, chatting through designs, giving me advice with her expert knowledge of stones and costs. She always respected my budget and ultimately my choice to purchase or not. At the appointment she sketched up the design of the ring and it looked perfect. I was finally more excited than nervous but a little reluctant to commit so I flipped a coin and the coin said to wait. It took me a day and a half before I came back and bought the ring there and then. Charlotte and her team were incredibly lovely and welcoming throughout and worked with me on what was best for me. Couldn't have been happier with my experience here and would highly recommend if you're mulling over an engagement ring design, just do it! Book an appointment, there's no pressure to commit here at all. The ring looked identical to the design she sketched and it looks stunning and well... she said yes! Thank you and sorry it took me 9 months to write a review. (It only took me 2 days to propose)

   We went to see Charlotte after a referral from a family member. We were very impressed with her business. We were looking to remodel some old jewellery and wanted a jeweller we could trust who had in-house craftsmen and design capability. Charlottes business had everything we needed and Charlotte gave us a wonderful service. We really enjoyed our visit and were very happy with the outcome.

   I recently lost a diamond out of a very precious (to me ring). I had no idea where to go and get it repaired. I did my research and decided Charlotte Cornelius was the jewellers I wanted to take my ring to. I don’t think I have ever made a better decision in my life, from walking into a busy shop and picking up my ring today I haven’t seen a business run so professionally in such a long time. It was lovely to see the workshop busy and I enjoyed chatting about jewellery and Jewellery makers with Charlotte. The whole experience has given me confidence to get my wedding ring and engagement ring restyled hopefully as one so that I can wear again. I look forward to coming back soon with my rings.    A big thank you to Charlotte and her team. I took a bangle in to have the safety clips checked as they were getting loose, also peal earrings which needed attention. They did an amazing job on both items and I am extremely pleased with the service they gave me. She listened and gave sound advice.The finish design far exceeded my ideas, and took my breath away.The craftsmanship was outstanding and the ring was beautiful and unique.    What a wonderful experience me and my partner had here with Charlotte and team, after planning on visiting a number of jewelry shops on the 15/10/22 looking to have two wedding bands made from my partners grandmas gold watch. As soon as we walked into charlotte’s place we both knew instantly that we were in the correct place and didn’t need to visit anymore jewelry places that day, extremely welcoming and very knowledgeable.    From start to finish my experience was perfect. Charlotte is amazing and the rest of the crew in Southsea are so helpful! If you are wanting to design a bespoke ring as a surprise for a partner but have no idea how, this is the place for you. Charlotte went through every fine detail with me and we created the perfect ring for my now fiancé who is absolutely in love with it! And with lots of time restraints visiting from Australia they managed to complete it a week earlier than expected.
