   Absolutely wonderful place to visit, Claire Ferris, the Veterinary Surgeon is so good with her clientele, friendly, knowledgeable, puts you at ease, tells you exactly as it is, doesn't waste time and giving information - her staff are the best you can come across, so like Claire very knowledgeable, know their job and an absolute delight to visit and chat with, they don't rush you on the telephone and always willing to listen to you to gain whatever the problem.

   One star for answering the phone, unfortunately as having to look for a new Vet (due to incompetence and poor treatment from our old Veterinary Surgery, which all our dogs had been attending for over 30yrs), I had heard good reports about Ferris Claire, but now when I go to call them to make an appointment for advice and for them to see our wee Pug (who is off his food and losing weight), they say their… “too busy, full to capacity and not taking on any new clients, just go try else where, goodbye”. I called because we have a sick dog and we were turned away, was probably for the best, kinda had enough already of zero flexibility and zero compassionate companies. Hopefully we will find the right Vet for us and our dogs, one with compassion and maybe even a bit of flexibility, who can find the time to see a new wee client at some point this week, in their very busy schedule.

   I really cannot recommend Clare and her team highly enough. My little dog had to have an operation last Wednesday, to remove a cancerous lump. Obviously, I was extremely anxious ,Caroline was brilliant, she answered all my questions, and was able to put my mind at ease. Clare did an amazing job. The aftercare given to my dog was brilliant from all the team also. Thanks so much for everything

   Have used Claire's Ferris vets for years now and wouldn't go anywhere else. Had my 3 dogs down tonight for their booster and the old boy for his 6months med check. Claire always says the way it is which is just the way it should be. Would highly recommend this practice. Cannot leave out the reception window as they are always happy to help with a smile. 5 star service.

   Claire is the biggest asset to the Ards area. Never have I met a vet so caring and professional in her job. We have our cat Troy registered with Claire and when he got hit by a car a couple of years ago, she reassured me and gave him the best treatment. More recently she has helped my mum with our family cat. Baby the cat recently passed away after 15 years and even though she had never been to a vet in her life, Claire was more than happy to help (out of hours as well). Claire and her team are absolute angels and my whole family appreciate everything they have done for our animals over the years. The best there is - from the Welsh family

   We took Zara, who is almost 16, to Claire on Wednesday night. She had had a full blown stroke and we didn't expect to bring her home again. We were given two choices - to put her to sleep or give her 24 hours with medication to see if she had pick up so we decided to try but the next morning I thought we might have done the wrong thing. So glad we did. Zara got home with medication. Her head is tilted to the right and she is unsteady on her feet but we can see a difference between yesterday and today. Claire was with her during the night on her first night there. She must never get a rest. We are so thankful. This morning when we asked Zara if she wanted to go to the park she brightened up and her tail wagged. Would definitely recommend Claire and we thought Zara's treatment would have been more expensive.

   We have had German shepherds for over 40 years and know the breed very well. Sometimes we need help with some of the inherent problems they can have especially as they get older. I have been registered with Claire for about 20 years and my experience has always been positive , Claire and all her staff are always helpful, friendly and show genuine care towards all the animals they treat , they have always worked with me in the best interest of the dogs. Claire has always been upfront and honest and her diagnoses has not yet been wrong in my experience to date.

   I have been with Vet Claire for nearly 15 yrs since she treated my last rescue dog for seizures. He managed to live 9 yrs with me, astounding us all. Her knowledge and care for animals is excellent, alongside empathy for owner.
