Lovely park. Bus stop right outside. Opposite the train station if arriving this way. Coffee van which also has teas, cold drinks and snacks. Toilet facilities are also this end. Lots of parking around the perimeter. Disabled spaces near fish pond. Well kept park. Lots of benches. They have brass bands playing in the bandstand during summer which is lovely to watch also a boules green. Lots of mature plants & trees. A fish pond at the top with lots of squirrels and ducks roaming. I find it a relaxing area and visit once a week. Its an ideal place to sit walk relax listen enjoy & switch off from the world.

Courtenay park was and still is a beautiful place to sit and relax, the park boasts beautiful old trees which provide shade during warmer times, also plenty of seating for patrons too. The park is well maintained and trees looks well sculpted and grass kept short.

A quiet open space opposite Newton Abbot railway station, walked around today in the sunshine enjoying the peace. Benches, Kids park (closed for Covid) and a gorgeous bandstand, dog friendly and tarmac paths for wheelchair and pushchair access. Public toilets are located at the station end with local bus and national coach stops nearby.
