Terrifying walk down one part didn't have rails. Had a panic but a lady walked with me. Never been so scared didn't know it was like that. Don't go if scared of heights
Another hidden nature gem on the Cornish coast. If you manage to do it, you will have a beach almost exclusively for you, along with the entire maze of rocks, especially at low tide. It's quite a hidden place, and once you're on the beach, there are walls of rocks everywhere, which gives you the feeling of a nice hiding place. Little paradise.
What a find, looked on the map and had a bit of a road trip, never been here before but the water is shallow, warm and safe for families. Suggest you arrive earlyish as the car park is limited spaces. Mobile signal to pay via Just park is best near to the roadside, in the car park is a dead zone. Suggest you pay an hour and top up if you find a spot on beach. I'm with EE and easily got mobile signal from the beach to top up parking. Walk to the beach via a path which I recommend trainers and not flip flops or bare feet. Arrive around low tide for best experience as the beach is much bigger.
This was a beautiful beach, with a mix of sand and rocks. The rock pools were full of life. Lifeguards were patrolling the beach and ensuring everyone was safe. Signs explained when the tide was high and low, the number of lifeguards, sea temperature etc. There is quite a steep walk down, so it's not a place for people with limited mobility.
Absolutely stunning beach! Be sure to visit when the tide is out, as it can become crowded when the tide is in. Paid car park at the top of the hill. Steep walk down on a good path and steps. Lifeguards on duty here too. A must visit!
Great little beach! Steep steps down to access it, we didn't make it down as our dog freaked at the metal staircase. So instead got the drone out to take some photos. Definitely worth visiting at low tide
Fantastic location, great views, clear water. Good rock pools for finding sea critters. The walk down and climb up may be tricky for some, as it's steep. Parked in Freathy car park, using Just Park app.
What a beautiful beach it is! A little Cornish paradise and a good swimming spot. However, not easy to access for those with mobility issues - steep hill + steps and rocks.
This is a perfect cove, quiet with golden sands, a small area with a lifeguard, it has man-made steps going down and its a decent walk from.the carpark but so worth it
