   Got my septum pierced by Fran and it was a great experience from start to finish! She listened to what I wanted and got it perfect - couldn't be happier with the result. Everything was explained really clearly and not rushed, which really put me at ease. I also enjoyed leafing through the jewellery catalogue afterwards and will probably pop back at some point to order a new ring.

   I travelled 2 1/2 hours to get to this gem of a tattoo studio. I booked with Steve Richardson who I had met a few times before at various gigs, festivals and at moto GP where he has worked . The brief was scull and flames and to fit in a space I had on my arm. Steve drew the design straight onto my arm so it would fit the space perfect. Steve is a fast tattooist and took great care of me. All the tattooists in the studio are friendly as well as the resident piercer. The studio is super clean and has nice decor. I would strongly recommend Steve to do any style of tattoo, but you will need to book him as he is in great demand. I will be back. Thank you Steve and Haunted Tattoo of Holloway Road , Islington, London for making me welcome.

   The staff at this establishment are lovely but unfortunately I can’t recommend visiting this establishment for nose piercings based on my experience. I visited to buy a replacement stud for my healed nose piercing, they offered to put in the replacement for free which was really nice of them. It was tightly fitted but the very next day it fell straight out. Not sure if that was a product issue or something but it was very odd, so I revisited and they offered to sell me a different type of stud to address the issue, and offered to put it in too. They didn’t charge me for the lost stud but then charged me for the fitting this time round, even though it took about a minute…? And I wouldn’t have even needed another fitting if the first stud hadn’t fallen out of my face. But I understand, it is a service so I was happy to pay for their time and expertise. This isn’t really the issue though. My original piercing was 8mm and I’d had it in place since I was originally pierced. When fitting the new piercing type, the piercer switched out the 8mm bar length for 10mm as she had trouble securing the piercing in my nose. She also used a lot of force when putting it in. The new piercing is now clearly too long for my face, and constantly migrates towards sticking halfway out of nose. It looks really unflattering and silly. It was a fully healed piercing with no swelling so I don’t know why the piercer thought the 10mm length was appropriate. She has also bent the stud itself using so much force to put it in (trying to achieve a “click” sound, indicating that it’s secure.) But I’ve removed this piercing myself and there is no click sound to be achieved. It’s just staying in place due to gravity, and the too-long length of the bar. I’m sure the staff would help me out if I went in a third time (they really were wonderful to chat with and very friendly) but at this point I would rather go somewhere else.

   What a wonderful place and great people! I had my first tattoo here a week ago but couldn’t leave a review because it was to be a surprise tribute to my family and I wasn’t seeing them until this week. Naturally I was nervous but I was treated with kindness and respect and I was given as much time as I needed to decide on the design and the placement of my stars. Liza was really gentle and the experience was quite bearable. She took only around an hour to create 3 beautiful linear stars on my arm. This parlour already has a great reputation and I am glad to be able to add to that. This is definitely a place to consider if you want a tattoo .

   The artists at Haunted Tattoos are some of the most talented, professional, friendly and welcoming tattooist out there. They provided amazing customer service. You can tell they love what they do and care about cleanliness and doing a great job for each and every customer. It is also a very fun environment as there is lots to look at, with all the horror themed decor, art and toys. They provide pillows and a blanket in case you're cold. I've gotten three tattoos at haunted; a Friday the thirtieth tattoo, a pair of cowboy boots with a cactus, and a very large piece on my thigh of the creature from the black lagoon. I am a very happy customer and can honestly say you wont regret getting your tattoo done here! I can't recommend them enough!!! 10/10

   I have had two tattoos from here this past year and the service and quality is amazing! I’ve had one tattoo by Yas and another by Adam, and I’m so so happy with both!! Both artists are so kind, super professional and made the experience seamless. Such a lovely shop and everyone is really welcoming. Will definitely be returning! :)
