    Ruby and Patricia went above and beyond during my visit. They advised me on jewellery and other bits in Claire’s. It’s a shame the store is in administration as these excellent employees will suffer.

    Claire's Nose Piercing Disaster: Wrong Studs and Zero Support My sister had her nose pierced at Claire's last week, and the experience was deeply disappointing. While the consultant was friendly, the piercing itself was a complete failure. On the same day as the piercing, the stud began pushing upwards, refusing to sit flat against her nose despite our best efforts with aftercare. After two days, we contacted Claire's and were told to come in. Upon arrival, the piercing consultant and another sales assistant simply offered a refund and suggested we go to another piercing shop. We were disappointed by their lack of support but remained composed. We then went to Inkredible Inc in Blackfen, where the piercer examined my sister's nose. We were shocked to discover that Claire's had used earring studs for the nose piercing. Even worse, the stud hadn't fully pierced through the nose, and she didn't even check after the piercing if the stud went through. We are extremely disappointed with Claire's piercing practices. While the staff are friendly, they clearly lack the expertise and proper equipment for nose piercings. I strongly advise anyone considering a nose piercing to avoid Claire's altogether. They should not be offering this service.

    I got my six year old daughter’s ears pierced here today for the first time and was very pleased we chose to do them here. The lady who pierced her ears was absolutely lovely with her, so calm and reassuring. My daughter was given a soft toy to hug, which I thought was very thoughtful, then received a sticker and lollipop post piercing , as did her little sister despite not getting earrings too, which they were both delighted with. I felt it was a clean, safe environment and that aftercare was very well explained. We are all very pleased with the results!

    Nice shop...but very pricey...which could explain why it's nearly always empty... I bought a few Christmas bits a fun gifts for friends...nearly £30!! Should have worn my glasses when I checked the price!!

    Had my 7 month old daughter Ears pierced there when she was around 4 and half months . I was using the solution as they said etc however the lady who pierced my daughters ears when I wanted to take them out to change them I realised how tight the back of the earrings was ! I finally removed the studs Claire’s had put in her ears and there was big scabs on the back of her ears where they put the back to close to my little girls ear she was crying in so much pain I’m so glad i took them out to clean otherwise I would of never realised they was to tight for her little ears ! Also I put new earrings in and one of them have started to go infected where it had so much trauma from it being to tight with the previous earrings I do not recommended if anything go to a pharmacy or tattoo shop to have these done as you would think for the price and brand they would be very good but they are not at all .

    Went to have my daughter's ears pierced after 12pm like I was told on the phone as two piercers would be available to do my babys ears at the same time and I turned up to be told that they are on a lunch break until 1.30pm. Came back at 1.30pm to be told that the manager who was just on lunch is cold so she is out buying a jumper! The girl Lilly that was the only person in the shop was running back and forth trying to deal with everyone. I was having a hard enough time worrying about getting my babys ear pierced but the constant delay due to only have one staff member made everything worse. The manager then swans in still without no jumper can I add, so that must of been a lie and I feel bad that Lilly had to lie to cover her manager. Then the manager starts arguing with a customer and I have to say the way she was speaking to the other customer was disgraceful. Because she was too busy arguing what I waited 2 hours for was no longer possible and could only be done by one person which was Lilly who was rushed off her feet as it is. I was so close to getting mad in the shop but Lilly worked well under pressure and stress and I felt bad for her. Ears are pierced but I wouldn't come here for piercings again for that service and at such a high cost. LILLY get another job elsewhere you are worth better than that piss taking manager.

    Please avoid at all costs! The worst ever customer service you can get! I would put zero star if l could. We booked and went there on 20th July to have my daughter’s ears pierced for the first time. What an experience it turned out to be... before reaching, we had decided on a starter kit at £30 (which is expensive enough for what it is if you ask me) but were looked upon in a bad way and kept being pushed for the £45 kit. We declined and stuck to our choice, but the lady didn’t like it one bit. She then lost patience as we had a quick chat with my husband to see who would stay with my daughter during the ear piercing and who should stay out (Covid19). My husband then asked her in the nicest possible way if he could take a picture of only our daughter when they would pierce her ears, to which she then said in such a condescending tone ‘remove your mask, l cannot hear what you are saying!’.. for god sake woman, this is Covid 19, the mask I am wearing is here to protect you as well as us. How much more rude can you get? The tone started rising between us and she said no no no picture of us, when we insisted we certainly didn’t want her picture taken or posted anywhere, just of our daughter for our own use. No smile, not one bit of reassurance to my daughter who could feel the tension rising between us and the manager and was wondering what was happening If l hadn’t promised it to my daughter, l would have left there and then. I will definitely not give them my money for my second daughter’s piercing and will now stop buying from them. Absolutely disgraceful service!! They are just after the money.
