Just demolished two whole pizza’s! Ate them immediately as they were just out of the oven as I ordered them to go. Simply delicious! Would highly recommend. Had an Uber Eats discount but full price seems expensive.

Me and my three little ones always have such lovely meals here. The atmosphere is calm and relaxing, and the staff are consistently welcoming — they really go out of their way to make sure we have a great evening. We even received an unexpected treat tonight from Kamila, who is always so friendly and attentive! A special mention also goes to Lauren, who served us with a beautiful smile — the children loved chatting with her whenever she had a spare moment. The team here are truly wonderful, and it’s one of our favourite restaurants because of that. As a vegan, I just hope they’ll expand their vegan options in the future!

Had a lovely evening at pizza express being served by the lovely Paulina! She was bubbly and attentive, helping us sort out issues with the app and so we were able to utilize the deals available. Manager Jim helped us out too, and was confident and reassured us we would get everything we wanted, and we did! Food was great, came out super speedy, thank you chefs!

Pizza Express is a lovely place to have a nice meal. I come here quite regularly with my partner and this time we had the Funghi Pizza and the Pomodoro which was probably my favorite. The pizzas have a great crispy base and the ingredients all seem fresh. Most pizzas like the Bruno, the Padana, and smoky bbq chicken have this English twist to them because they taste a bit sweeter than a real Italian pizza. They have some nice starters although the chicken wings specifically don’t feel Italian and are perhaps a bit over spiced. The sauce that comes with them is amazing but gets hidden by all the seasoning on the chicken itself. The calamari and the shrimp starters are also underwhelming but the doughballs with the 3 sauces is great for sharing and the sauces are delicious. They do have some lovely wines and sparkling sodas so definitely try the lime and ginger. I know the dough comes in frozen and the chicken is sourced from Thailand which feels cheap and “chainy” but I suppose it doesn’t really affect the quality but it makes you feel a tiny bit ripped off when you’re still paying £18 per pizza. Also make sure you get the app because they do have good deals like a free drink or side and sometimes even mains but read the terms and conditions. Overall it’s a really nice place but it feels overpriced and I definitely wouldn’t go here often if they didn’t have discounts or free items.

Billboard offered 2 courses, Mon. To Thurs. for £15.95. DON'T be FOOLED, should read Pizza and Doughballs, doughballs being the only other course on the offer. Left for FRANA MANCA, excellent service, cheerful staff, V.impressive pizza's.

I came in and had a nice meal with my fiancé and we was greeted by a nice gentlemen who I believe was the General Manager, I've been to a few chains now and he seems to have a very good team at this store, he's got a great attitude to work and is very professional, also my waitress Marta was very polite and was a brilliant service to have. overall imp very satisfied and will be coming back more often.

Overall, the food was decent, but the main waiter that we had was quite rude. We had a man that was bald over the top of his head with short hair around the sides. I think he was Northern Irish and quite tall, not that he was rude because he is tall or Northern Irish, but that’s the most specific I could be about who this waiter is. Ordering the starters was no drama, as they came pretty fast and tasted lovely. When we ordered our mains everything seemed fine, but then when our pizzas arrived, I was given the wrong pizza, and when some of the people I was with said I’d been given the wrong pizza, the waiter immediately said ‘Oh, it was a bit mumbled’ referring to when I had ordered, which doesn’t sound awful on paper, but it was extremely passive aggressive, and obviously a way of telling me it was my fault that my order was wrong. He could have easily just apologised on behalf of the situation and asked me to clarify which pizza I had ordered. Firstly, I didn’t mumble, and remember speaking clearly when I ordered, but if he didn’t hear me, if I had indeed mumbled, or if the pizza I ordered sounds similar to another thing on the menu, he could have asked me to clarify what I’d ordered which would have been fine. To be fair, the correct pizza came fairly fast after I’d had to re-order which was a positive. Secondly, when we were eventually paying, my girlfriend, one of the people whom I was eating with, was trying to get a discount using her Pizza Express App, and called our waiter over because the code she was using didn’t seem to work, and she’d tried quite a few times. Again, the waiter did nothing but insist that the way she had used the app was wrong, but when he told her what she should have done, she confirmed that she had indeed done what he said, already. He wouldn’t just say ‘no worries, would you mind trying again?’ which is all that needed to happen and was how we managed to pay in the end. I have no idea if this man is going through something bad in his life, and I don’t want to assume that he’s fine, because upsetting aspects of one’s personal life can of course have a huge knock on affect to one’s professional life, and just make them more short with people in general, but either way, the way we were spoken to was fairly unpleasant and I don’t think it was necessary. I used to work in hospitality and it’s a number one rule not to speak a customer this way, so why should he? I’m not saying that the customer is always right or anything like that, but don’t be rude or passive aggressive when there’s just no need. I really hope I didn’t come across as entitled or just a plain d*ckhead in this review, but I felt frustrated after our experience. However, we’ve been there before and the staff we’ve had have been lovely, and the food has been nice too, which it was this time as well.
