We had a very lovely meal here! For starters we chose the prawn skewers and calamari. For mains, we tried the salmon risotto. There was a festive menu available so we had the pannetone with gelato for dessert. Very unique and delicious. Service was also very good and we were warmly greeted and served by Cagdas.

The Rustica Pizza was excellent – thin, crispy base with generous toppings, just the way it should be. The Garlic Bread with Chilli Cheese was a standout starter, perfectly balancing spice and cheesy goodness. The Italian beer complemented the meal beautifully, adding to the authentic Italian dining experience. Friendly service and a cozy atmosphere make Zizzi Brighton a great spot for a relaxed and tasty meal.

Loved the chicken calibrase, flavours were delicious and potatoes cooked to perfection my friend had the vegan rainbow lasagna and said it was delicious too. Our server, Lukas was very polite and efficient.

Unfortunately this was not a pleasant visit. I have been a ZIZI's fan for a number of years across a few of there different sites and with Calzone being my favourite meal I was more than ready for this after a walk on Brighton seafront. In terms of seating we were unlucky with being sat on a small single table for two with a corridor either side and next to the delivery door which was regularly opened with a cold breeze coming through. There were other nicer seats in the other areas for larger tables which is understandable so you may have a better experience seated elsewhere. In relation to the service as per the below reviews of other people's experiences the staff were not the best and seemed quite uninterested in being there. There were incredibly long waits to be served and they did apologise multiple times but the overall service did not seem to improve over the evening. The staff manager was the only saving grace who dealt with an awkward situation gracefully and saved face of the restaurant despite the fact his boss was discussing us in earshot which I found rude. The starter fondu tasted a bit more like pasta sauce than cheese and the bread was quite dry but the Calamari was alright and a solid choice as always. The mains were a bit bland with calzone not having much flavour and the pizza being too dry and crispy. As a mark of the food this is the first time I've not finished a calzone and combined with the general service left a foul taste. In terms of positives they offered a free table snack of some seasoned crisps which weren't that nice but a nice offer nonetheless. The location is great and is in the center of town and a nice place to people watch. Good clean facilities and have vegetarian/gluten options. The staff manager also refunded us our drinks so all we paid is £45 in vouchers. Sadly despite having vouchers to eat here again for free I would not be returning at this time. I hope this was a one off and that others can enjoy thier experience here.

Decent Italian restaurant. Didn’t like the behavior of one staff member. We ordered King Prawn Linguine, Burrata Caprese Salad and Zillionaire’s Fudge Cake. That cake was SO delicious. Would go back in for the dessert but there are better options our there. In terms of service and variety.

Pity the advertised special starter was unavailable. Not told until after I'd ordered. Tasty Caprese salad, followed by Super Zucca Salad with chicken.

Not quite my favourite food to be honest. I usually stay away from the large chains, but this was looked really cute from outside and we wanted Italian. Service was great, we got some fried pasta to start with on the house. I got the lentil pasta, which is definitely stay clear of. It was bland, had terrible texture and put me off the whole meal. The dough balls were good, cheese was stringy, the the lasagna apparently was delicious too and polished off by my partner.

Quaint setting in Brighton, service was a little slow to begin with (wasn't particularly busy) but improved. New items in menu that I hadn't seen before - had the king prawn skewers and they were cooked just right and very tasty. Main course very tasty, just about the right size portion. Had to dash so getting get a chance to try dessert. Overall 4 out of 5. Well done to all of the staff, front of house but also those on the background that are sometimes forgotten. Merry Christmas !
