Ordered from JustEat, order accepted and then cancelled. I called the resturant to ask what the problem was and was told I was too far away (it's a 10 minute drive). I told the man on the phone it was only 10 minutes away which he denied, I said I had checked Google maps and asked why did he accept my order in the first place if it was too far away when they knew my address when I ordered. He then became very aggressive, shouting down the phone saying both myself and Google maps were both wrong so I hung up. This kind of service seems to be the norm at this place judging from other reviews on here. Would not recommend to anyone and won't be ordering again. This place seriously needs to sort its customer service out.

Wasn't expecting much, have walked past this restaurant often, the restaurant looks very tired. The mixed starter was OK but the mains were great. Braised pork with pickled vegetables was good but lotus root hot pot was fantastic, loaded with peppers, chillies, garlic and Szechuan pepper. Portion sizes are large too. A great change from the more boring Chinese restaurants you find everywhere.

Tucked just off the sea front, this place should be great. Built on a number of floors and with a roof top garden. But I can only comment as found. Tired people making the place look dull. Disinterested staff. What a shame. Feel sure it is good on the right day!

Lovely place to sit outside and watch the world go by, but not the best food at lunchtime. We were given a main menu, but only found out after ordering that there was a lunch menu (another couple asked the waitress for it), which really we should have been offered from the start. Food was microwaved and bland, really nothing special. It was a shame as we ate here for dinner a couple of years ago and it was really good. Service was ok but, again, nothing special - coming in at £30 for lunch, you'd expect a little more.

We came here as part of the Eat out to Help Out promotion during August. On entering, the restaurant is impressive- nice decor & seemed very clean. We were shown to our table, the staff were actually pleasant and attentive. Unfortunately our table was in the middle of the room and less than a metre away from another table, without any kind of protective screening, which made us both feel uncomfortable (also not one member of staff was wearing a mask, I feel this leaves them vulnerable to infection). Now to the food. Being a vegan, I was really excited about the menu. Plenty of choice for me for once! The menu advised that you order 2-3 dishes per person, which we did, really somebody should have mentioned that the dishes are quite large so we ended up with far too much food that we couldn’t finish! Unfortunately lots of the vegan dishes were fried (probably my fault for not reading the descriptions properly) and the tofu, although quite tasty, was ridiculously salty which means I could only eat a couple of mouthfuls. The cauliflower was delicious and I wish we’d ordered 2 portions of that instead of the other choices. I would eat here again but would love to see some healthier vegan options on the menu.

Had an incorrect order from here couple of months ago , had trouble trying to get staff to listen that they were wrong but finally got it resolved. Gave them the benefit of the doubt and ordered tonight...what a mistake that was. Food was incorrect again however this time they refused to admit they had messed up and the man began to raise his voice when my partner challenged them. Terrible service, how hard is it to get an order correct when it's printed in black and white! Shant be given them the benefit of the doubt this time. Oh and the portion of chips I received would've been acceptable had it have been for a young child.

I always used to order from JustEat last year but ordered in person for the first time today. The owner is really friendly and nice to speak to! The food is also great quality for great prices. Really good takeaway and has great halal options. Thanks and will see you again soon!
