I was sceptical, having looked at photos, but great pizza. Fabulous service, even though busy. Friendly and comfortable. It seems a must go place for Bedford locals.

We thought we were in for a real treat. Wow is all I have . The pizza was so doughy and rubbery you could of bounced it out the restaurant. The salad had enough salt on it to grit the roads of bedford. Half of the mains were cleared while people were still eating. Then dessert menus plonked on the table while people were still eating mains. The music was so loud that conversation was near on impossible. All.in all not an experience that I will ever repeat.

I was out with friends for Christmas and the Pizzeria delivers pizza to the pub next door to eat, but I wanted to sit down and enjoy a meal, didn't turn me away as I was on my own and it was a busy Saturday night had a lasagna, garlic bread, coke, tiramisu and cappuccino came to about £24, all was excellent, can't wait for our next excursion to Bedford my friends will definitely join me. Have a happy new year.

My wife used to come here when she was 5 years old when it first opened- I won’t embarrass her over her age but we have just introduced our 2 beautiful granddaughters to a fantastic authentic rustic Italian meal out. As always the food is amazing, the atmosphere electric and the welcome the best in Bedford. Here’s to starting the next generation and don’t ever change a thing - perfect pasta and pizza, salads and desserts. Thank you

We travelled from Winslow and Milton Keynes to visit this place. We had been 5 years ago and just like before this time was fantastic. Authentic pizza. The dough is just out of this world. Usually with pizza elsewhere I feel bloated but this place is brilliant. Gorgeous distribution of cheese and sauce. They keep the toppings simple like it should be. Their garlic bread with mozzarella was eye opening delicious. My mushroom pizza was just what I wanted and needed. I wish they were closer to us. If you live nearby you're lucky! The team there was polite and friendly. The music was a compilation of old school Italian and some modern tunes mixed in. Parking could be an issue on a busy night but drive up the road and there are some spaces. It's nice to experience a proper Italian pizzeria.

I like to come to this pizzeria every week: I always feel at home. The pizza is always very good and it's also not far from me! Wonderful!

I wasn't surprised to find this place packed on arrival as all I ever hear is amazing reviews but we did get a table and found the staff to be happy and helpful! The house red was delicious and the starters came out very quickly. The pizzas were outstanding. Totally authentic hand stretched thin deliciousness with a huge range to choose from. I cannot believe how reasonable this place is on cost, I would happily have paid more... especially for the cheesecake! Two adults having wine, two pizzas, garlic bread, olives and a dessert for £44 is just a no brainer. We will definitely be back!

I always feel it’s nice to support local independent restaurants and this is certainly an example of such a place, with a really family-run vibe. We visited on a Saturday evening and there were no more reservations being taken, so were lucky to secure a table at all - make sure you reserve if you’re going at peak time! The first thing which unfortunately strikes is how cramped the place is. It’s a large restaurant but they’ve really crammed the tables in, both in the main dining area as well as the extension to the side. The sheer volume of people in the place, along with wooden chairs on the tiled floor makes it very noisy, although it’s certainly a lively atmosphere. The (what I assume to be newer) extension on the side isn’t quite decorated to the same level as the main area so feels a little detached and ‘no-frills’ but fortunately the level of service from the staff was just as good. The menu is basic, just as you’d expect a traditional small family run place to be, and naturally pizzas are the focus although there are a few other Italian dishes. The choice of pizzas is very large and the prices for even the most heavily topped ones is reasonable. Orders were taken quickly from the staff, drinks were served fast and despite how busy the place was, the main meals arrived really quickly. The pizzas were large although there was quite a space left between the edges and the topping, meaning there was probably too much burnt base for the size. However the toppings were generous and cooked thoroughly. Everyone in the group found the size filling enough to not need any desert orders! The staff were brilliant throughout being really fast, always on hand and friendly. This is a credit to them given how many other diners there were. The noise levels were far too high to make it a relaxing experience though, and being crammed in so tight amongst everyone else was a shame. Other than that though it was a great meal and felt really authentic. I’ll certainly return, just probably not at such a popular time.
