We stayed in Crewe for one night and managed to find and dine in this lovely, stylish and relaxed Italian restaurant. The food and presentation were pretty and tasty, classic Italian meets seasonal modern twist especially for vegetarian, we had pumpkin filled pasta with a sage and butter sauce special and pasta with aubergine with a lemon crust in a tomato sauce. The service was friendly and fast. Would go again.

What a gem!
It’s not often I go out to eat in my hometown but our evening at Gio’s was top class.
The service was great, staff were welcoming, well organised and attentive.
The food was wonderfully tasty and authentic. The portion sizes are generous and so are the prices.
I also absolutely loved the decor. They have curated such a relaxing and inviting atmosphere. 10/10 all around.
Couldn’t recommend this place more. I’ll definitely be back soon!

Wow… incredible food, hospitality and atmosphere. Already planning our next trip. I don’t know what it is with Italians but they usually never elevate themselves from a mid tier restaurant. They also tend to have the same menus for 40 years so if you’ve been a few times there’s really no need to go again. Gio’s is not that. The craftsmanship and flavour that goes into each dish is next level. The atmosphere and interior design are bob on. The service is top tier.
It was 4 of us, 2 couples on a rare evening out from kids. We went all out, starters, mains and hopefully dessert (but we didn’t manage it). All plates were deliciously fresh and well thought out. The menu has loads of vegetarian options too and marks them clearly, it also presents dishes as can be made vegan to further push the options in their menu.
The centre piece of the whole meal though was Gio’s punch which was a huge jug of primarily orange punch. It was astoundingly and so refreshing for an evening in the summer.
There were a couple of minor issues which is expected at any restaurant at some point. For me it’s how the restaurant deals with them. The staff and owner were quick to rectify everything and never argued.
There was an 8% service charged added to the bill in the end which we were happy to pay and the whole thing came to £150ish which we thought was great value for money on what we’d experienced.

Child's pizza was lovely my child ate the whole thing. And said the icecream was nice.

I stayed overnight at The Royal Hotel and needed a place to have dinner. Luckily I found this place nearby. It seems to be a hidden gem among the plethora of takeaways which is very refreshing after a long days travel.
The arancini was particularly delicious as it had a wonderful crunch. For mains I tried the Arrabbiata which was lovely, especially when accompanied with their organic wine.
I would highly recommend this place, their good food and exceptional service to anyone.
