Order arrived almost 90 minutes after placing the order. I was called after one hour that the food is ready and waiting for the delivery driver and it wouls be a bit late. The food arrived cold, had to put it in the oven to be able to enjoy the pizza. Although tasty and appealing, cold pizza is not something i would like to order again.
Made a mistake ordering on the app, called the store to check and the lady who awnsered was rude and hung up the phone as she didn't understand basic English, they could have passed the phone to someone else which would have been better customer service. Once the delivery confirmation came through we waited for the delivery approx 25mins. When the pizza was delivered the driver was very nice and polite, I checked the pizzas they looked appetising and tasted good. They even gave a free garlic bread and dip maybe to apologise which was good. The only let down of this experience was the rude lady on the phone. After a long day at work its something that's not needed and theres no need. Hopefully she will get the appropriate level of customer service training.
Ordered 2 xxl pizzas for delivery. All the meats and a hawaian. Late delivery even though ten minutes before it arrived the tracking said i had received it. Then the hawaian was shocking. Hardly any pineapple. And hardly any ham or whatever it was that they had put on it. Looked and tasted more like luncheon meat. The meat one had proper ham on it and you could definitely see the difference between the two. They both also had hardly any cheese on them and the dough was undercooked and stodgy. Used to order from here all the time, never will again.If i could add photos then i would.
Ordered a pepperoni pizza got something completely different with everything on it, phone the shop where they hung up on me, then the driver said he was going to collect ours from where he had delivered it, in which we asked for a fresh one. Finally got our pizza after an hour and 20 mins. Poor customer service service all round.
Without a doubt the best takeaway in town across all cuisines. The team at Kingsthorpe are just built different. They also arrive early or on time with pizza piping hot. Dominos look like a Mickey mouse joint compared to Papa John's.
Arguably one of the best pizzas I’ve had in a while. The thick crust and toppings were really nice. I’ll order me some real soon.

I really enjoyed this takeaway. We never usually go for papa johns but this surprised us immensely (in a good way!) it was simple to order and we got 40% off when you spend £40 or more online! Pizza was delicious. There could have been a variation on sides as it was all chicken, garlic bread, and scrolls but it tasted delicious. The only reason I didn’t put it 5 stars is because I wish their order tracking system was more prominent. Apart from that it was delicious!
