Kebab came separately from the salad and sauce. (Which is new thing for me. Must be a northern thing, like the no squatting on the toilet signs at the campsite. I've never been further north than Basingstoke) but was very satisfactory after a long day cycle touring and a few beers down the pub. Pizza was fantastic, nice and moist dough and yet crispy. Well done chaps, you will have a guilt free sleep tonight.. the young man behind the counter was first class. Well mannered and polite. A true example of how to uphold the best type of customer service.
A few weeks ago, I ordered a delivery kebab, which arrived with no salad or sauce. I mentioned this last night when I placed another delivery. The bag the order arrived in was soggy and could not hold the contents. The combo kebab and meat pizza both needed heating up. My daughter commented that the meat on the pizza was 'squishy'. My kebab had no sauce again and whilst the accompanying salad was limited, it was better than the green salad (I requested no onions) and it was a small container of iceberg lettuce, and 3 slices each of tomato and cucumber. It's definitely not worth £3! I rang to share my dissatisfaction, having spent £34 and was told the third time would be better!!!! Poor food, incomplete order, needed heating, and poor customer service.
Positive is the delivery was quick and always friendly. Not happy that the chips were cold, soggy and greasy. Don't appreciate having to create dishes to wash after ordering a takeaway but chips were inedible otherwise. I also left instructions for pittas and meat to be separate, but the meat was in the pitta when it arrived.
Friendly Staff, highly recommended, hot and delicious pizza as usual.
Used to be good but tonight our order turned up without sauces and salad that we ordered and paid for and the portions have pretty much halved since our last order. £18 for a Mac combo and chips which used to feed 2 easily now only enough for 1 person at a push. Really poor won’t order again and will go back to Newport Kebab.
First time I ordered the pizza arrived lukewarm. Ok. Maybe the driver had too many orders. Gave it another chance, and the driver took a massive detour and then claimed they couldn't reach my address. I'm sure others have a good experience, but I won't risk ordering from them again. Guess it's easier when you're the only game in town.
Ive Never had a bad meal or experience at Pizza Max and tonight is no different. Staff are friendly, food its always hot, cooked well and full of flavour! We are lucky to have a great local establishment on our doorstep and I would highly recommend Pizza Max to everyone!
