Service is fine as staff were polite and helpful. We sat at the window table so we had a beautiful view for our dinner. However, I think the food is a big minus as it’s mediocre but pretty overpriced compared to its quality. We ordered: 8 pcs spicy volcano rolls, 1 miso soup, 1 tonkotsu ramen, and 1 veggie donburi. Total: £56.85 The spicy volcano rolls and miso soup were both quite basic. They were okay to eat but there would not be much to comment on from my friend or myself. My friend ordered tonkotsu ramen. She appreciates that the broth was quite rich but a tad bland. The broth was cold. Having taste tested the broth, I think the pork smell was unpleasantly overpowering. My friend said that the only thing she enjoyed was the tamari egg. However, as it costed £18.95, we would expect a bit more from this dish. Coming back to our airbnb, my friend said that she didn’t feel really well after eating the ramen. I think it’s quite alert. Veggie donburi: the toppings were fine and refreshing. I did enjoy the pickled. However, the rice seemed cold like it had been cooked for a few hours but not kept warm. And so the rice couldn’t blend in with the flavours of the toppings. Everything plated in the donburi seemed not complementing each other to me. And it was £17 for this.

Amazing gem of a place. The food was delicious and would highly recommend the ramen. Great variety of dishes and sushi. The sake was lovely too. Staff super friendly and the whole atmosphere was perfect.

Delicious sushi - very fresh and well made, quite a nice selection too, including eel. Friendly staff. Cosy place with nice window seats for those eating alone, offering upstairs seating too. My only criticism would be that maybe the green walls could be decorated more because otherwise they're quite bland. Expensive but not too expensive, and besting in quality some other places in Norwich (haven't tried Shiki yet). I've seen that they offer lunch menu for a decent price; definitely worth having it if you're in town between 12:00 and 14:30.

Very cosy and authentic. Expect fresh fish that is perfectly rolled and full of flavour. Staff were friendly and service was quick. Some more choice of ramen would be nice but otherwise a well balanced menu for all. Would recommend.

Fast and polite service, had tonkotsu ramen, takoyaki, ebi ten roll, personally I found the octopus in the takoyaki really chewy and I wasn't a huge fan of the ramen as it was very one note and bland to my taste, plus the protion size wasnt too big for the price. but my partner enjoyed though so it might be just me.

Lovely little Japanese place. Good service and well prepared food. Ramen was so yum! They let me share it with a friend. The upstairs section is quiet - great place to catch with friends. Has practical and friendly ambience, can have better lighting. Did not use the Loo here.. cannot comment on this.

Absolutely loved this place. A real hidden gem in the centre of Norwich. Feeling spontaneous on a Friday evening. I called half an hour before to see if they could accommodate my wife and I for dinner. The staff were very helpful and friendly and they managed to squeeze us in at the last minute. The food is absolutely amazing and very reasonably priced. We opted to share a mix of various small plates and everything was delicious, well presented and served promptly. The drinks offering is decent so my wife opted to try a glass of the Plum wine while I stuck with the familiar Sapporo. We were so blown away by the plum wine we decided to share a bottle. It is the perfect drink to have whilst savouring the delicate flavours of the food, a wonderful balance of dry, sweet, tangy and fresh. The staff were exceptionally friendly and efficient. We will be returning again in the very near future.
