If you’re looking for a classic takeaway that hits all the right notes, Fish and Chips to takeaway is your go-to in Brighton. the batter came out crispy and golden, not soggy or over-greased. The chips are great: fluffy inside and perfect outside Now, the sausage in batter deserves its own praise. The batter mirrors the crisp of the fish, light enough not to overwhelm, yet sturdy enough to hold its shape. Inside, the sausage is juicy and well-flavoured — not one of those limp, rubbery ones. Takeaway service is friendly and efficient; you won’t wait forever, but you get the sense they care about what they dish out. Everything is wrapped up well so it arrives still hot and tasty. Overall, a highly satisfying takeaway — perfect for a comfort food fix, especially when you want proper batter, good fish, and a sausage that doesn’t disappoint.

An old-style fish & chips shop with limited seating, but the food makes up for it. The fish was fresh, crispy, and tasty, and the chips were satisfying. A simple, traditional spot — nothing fancy, but if you want classic fish & chips near the beach, it does the job well.

Great Fish and Chips in Brighton! We spent a day in Brighton, and before heading back to London, we decided to try this restaurant for its famous fish and chips. It did not disappoint! The dish was absolutely delicious—crispy, fresh, and flavorful. A perfect way to end our visit to Brighton. Highly recommend!

Personally I think this is the best Fish and Chip shop in Brighton, on the seafront. I have had fish and chips on this site since I was a child. Small but they will do what they can to squeeze you in. Once seated, very quick to get your order and before you blink the food will be at the table. Lovely fresh fish nice chips and you can add lashings of vinegar. Overall a very pleasant place to eat. No frills just good food

Didn't like the chips. Seemed old and soggy. Chips are meant to be firm and stiff. £3.50 for small/medium portion. (came last year summertime. Line for shop was out the door. So promised myself I'll try them next time I'm down here.) Disappointed

Not very welcoming. Fish small. Felt like in the way as locking up, did ask it we were OK to sit in but then they were closing around us. Should have just said no
