Beautiful views over the beach on a sunny day. Also surprisingly enjoyable experience in a storm (as long as you don't intend on leaving during it). The cocktail menu is spectacular, and the oysters are delightful. So good we had to go 2 days in a row.

Had such a lovely time for my besties 40th birthday eve! Joel was amazing! We were very annoying I’m sure but he was so patient, kind and very good fun! We even lost our air pods and he had them straight there ready the next day as soon as I called! Delicious food! 100% recommend! Thanks to the fantastic team especially Joel :) Helen Tom Soph and Jay x

Had an absolutely fantastic meal at Riddle & Finns (Beach location)! I ordered the oysters, clam chowder, and the seafood linguine — everything was spot on. The oysters were fresh and perfectly presented, and the chowder was rich and comforting. What really impressed me was the seafood linguine — every element of it was cooked separately and perfectly, which really made the dish shine. You could taste the care that went into balancing each flavor. John was also wonderful — very friendly and took the time to explain the menu and make great recommendations. Overall, it was an excellent dining experience from start to finish.

Stopped in for a meal and was greeted by a lovely, welcoming team – the service here really adds to the experience. The ambience is relaxed but still feels special, with that fresh sea air right outside. The fish of the day was absolutely delicious – fresh, perfectly cooked, and full of flavour. The croquetas were a real highlight too: crisp on the outside, soft and rich inside. The potatoes were… fine, nothing to write home about, but everything else more than made up for it. With a glass of wine each, we spent about £50 per person, which felt fair for the quality and location. Definitely worth a visit if you want fresh seafood in Brighton with friendly service and a nice setting.

It’s a great seafood restaurant in Brighton. We came here for our daughter’s graduation. The food is gorgeous, and also a bit pricey. The service is good, and they also put 12.5% service charge on the bill. The best dish I like most is The Mixed Green, it’s very tasty, full of garlic and butter flavour, very nice. I recommend the starter (light bites), Sautéed Squid, it is very tasty, and the cucumber salad is also amazing. Our mains, Risotto and Linguine is good, but personally I think it’s too salty, it would make it more delicious if reducing 5-10% of salt. It’s just my personal preference. Desserts are also amazing, we had Panna Cotta and Tiramisu to share, they are so delicious and tasty, very creamy not too sweet.

I went there for my birthday and I was happy with everything. The service is perfect, the seafood is absolutely delicious and very fresh. I really like the atmosphere. The design of the place made me feel close to the sea and also with chefs. They also surprised me with the “happy birthday” chocolate truffle!

We went for a late lunch around 5pm on a Friday. No line, no waitlist, we were immediately offered a table inside. Service was friendly, restaurant clean and well maintained. Ordered a bottle of white (served a few degrees too warm), two starters and the classic seafood platter with an additional half lobster. The warm wine seemed to be a general problem, as the gentleman across ordered a lot of ice cubes for his glass of wine. All the seafood was fresh and delightful, but the lobster tail was tough (claw was fine). We also enjoyed some really well mixed espresso martinis. We'd go again, lovely views, good service and fun food.

This is a stand out restaurant with a spectacular elevated view. The clam chowder hits the spot on a windy day. We had the grilled octopus and calamari. The bread basket came with 4 condiments! We also had a crisp South African wine which was recommended by our server. Service was prompt and friendly. Highly recommend this place.

Our server Reece was very attentive and every dish was a 10/10! I’d recommend the apple scallops & Dover sole but you can’t go wrong with anything on the menu. They also bring you a bread basket with lovely dips such as market pate which is a lovely touch.

We visited the other location in town a few months ago and were completely blown away, so decided we had to check out the beach front restaurant too..... Long story short, it is sublime. Still one of the best restaurants I've ever been to anywhere in the world. The best food and drinks coupled with the nicest and friendliest of expert staff. An absolute must visit if you like seafood!
