Horrendous. Used this restaurant many times over the years and it can fluctuate but tonight was another level. Ordered a delivery that took nearly 2 hours to arrive. When it did it was barely warm. The quality and volume was shocking. Four pieces of chicken in each dish. Four pieces of potato in the sag aloo. Very few mushrooms in the sag mushroom dish. Obviously customer care is now non existent. Cutbacks on size and quality will only see this place go one way. Avoid.

A little hidden gem, we haven’t been for a while and forgot how great this place is. The food was delicious and we try something different every time. High quality ingredients, freshly cooked. Would highly recommend.

Been away from the area for a while and fancied treating my folks to a curry and this popped up on my search... WOW, this meal was incredible, cooked to perfection and so tasty, everyone kept saying this is the best curry they've ever had, and I whole heartedly agree. To top it off, the gentlemen who delivered it to us was such a nice chap, so enjoy a lovely meal with confidence. 5 stars across the board.

Really impressed with the food from this curry house. I ordered the garlic chilli chicken to takeaway. (sorry, no pics - wolfed it down!) The sauce was thick and full of flavour, chicken and chillies. The sauce was not watery and coated my boiled rice and garlic naan to perfection. The restaurant itself is quaint and cute. It was very busy too, spoke volumes of quality. Definitely a place I'd visit again for a spicy dish!

We’ve just had a great meal tonight! Everything was perfect and it’s one of the better authentic and affordable curry houses we’ve been too, especially in Brighton where prices can get a little steep! They looked after us from start to finish, but mainly, the food was great :) The chutney tray was extensive, with a few extra options compared to usual which was nice. The mains and sides were all very flavoursome and not overly oily. The chapati and mushroom rice were okay, but completely outshone by the chicken tikka which was sizzling and very moist, and the Chana saag which was delicious. The korma was a little sweet, but heavy on coconut which was lovely. All in all, this was cracking!

WHAT AN ABSOLUTE JOKE! Took my grandad here for his birthday. We arrived and waited 20 minutes to have our drinks. To which we took the opportunity to order both our starters and mains. Our starter didn’t arrive for 40 minutes which we engulfed in minutes as it was so tiny and we were so hungry. 45 minutes AFTER our starters there was still no sign of a main. Tables arrived after us and had received food before us. We then asked how long until our dinner would be ready to find out they hadn’t even started it! Customer service was absolutely shocking, all the waiters looked so miserable and when I told him we’d like to leave he tried to tell me it won’t be long, completely disregarding the fact I told him We’d like the bill as we’d been waiting almost two hours. We paid the bill for two starters and 4 beers which came to over £60. (Including service charge) Staff tried to make no amendments for ruining my grandads evening. We we’re left searching for somewhere else last minute at 8.30pm. Will never be coming here again or recommending to anyone. OVERPRICED. NOT WORTH THE QUALITY OR QUANTITY FOR THAT MATTER. And STAFF ARE EVER SO UNFRIENDLY/UNHELPFUL.

If you're looking for a restaurant that serves up delicious Indian cuisine with a touch of sophistication, Elizabethan Tandoori House is the place to be. The restaurant has been a favorite in the community for years, and it's only gotten better since new owners took over. The menu has been updated with new dishes, and the traditional favorites have been elevated with new twists and improvements in flavor. The food is absolutely delicious, with a perfect blend of spices and ingredients that result in flavors that are bold, aromatic, and absolutely irresistible. Whilst many pubs have moved on and serve up fresh and exciting dishes, I just felt that the Walrus is languishing in some rather stodgy old school food. The menu is interesting enough, but I suspect that the policy errs towards quantity rather than quality. Benchmark roast lamb with Yorkshire pud, was overcooked, and the Yorkshire clearly pre-cooked and reheated. Not great... A refreshing super food salad with quinoa and other bits and bobs was huge mound of ingredients which really didn't knit together that well - broccoli and pomegranate... The food wasn't bad by any stretch, but the impression was that the chef was just shovelling it out rather than trying to seduce the customer with his culinary skills. Good beer.

Firstly food was superb! :) What was very annoying is their (I'm assuming) Takeaway phone was constantly ringing loudly behind us. The staff weren't answering it and having a phone continuously ringing behind us made the evening not as relaxing as we were anticipating. Food and decor is lovely but please turn the ringer down on your phone, move it away from the restaurant or make sure it's being answered so we don't have to have ringing in our ears all evening! Table next to us also commented it was rather annoying. Would only return if we would be seated away from a constantly ringing phone. Staff could also be a bit friendlier and smile when serving :)
