We came for dinner, incredibly delicious wines and food, we had a very enjoyable meal, there is a really good chef, good staff in the lounge, thank you for everything, it is a real quality restaurant.
This is the most amazing restaurant i have ever been to. The atmosphere is enchanting with lovely jazz music playing in the background. The food is beautifully presented and cooked to the high quality and it is so reasonably priced, will definitely return again. The menu also has a wide variety and caters for all, the vegan/vegetarian menu is broad and varied.
I feel fortunate to have a wonderful place like Semola in my neighbourhood! They serve delicious, authentic Italian dishes that are always satisfying. The atmosphere is cozy, chic, yet incredibly inviting—it's like being at home! The staff are friendly and attentive, making you feel completely at ease. With a relaxed vibe and an open kitchen, dining here feels like joining an Italian family for a meal. Every visit is such a delightful experience!
Roberto & Lucca's food is always amazing! I've tried many pasta dishes here over the past couple of years & it never fails to amaze & surprise in a good way. The service is first class, the restaurant is comfortable & the Aperol Spritz is the best I've ever had (I've had many all over the world) My girlfriend had the spaghetti carbonara tonight & I had the smoked salmon gnocchi (see the pictures) & both were incredibly tasty & decent sized portions. We shared the pistacchio cheesecake for dessert & it was soft, moist & creamy. I can't recommend Semola highly enough if you want an incredible food experience. Booking is essential as they are always busy due to their high ratings.
Just delightful … from the welcome to starter … main course and sweet! We took all the recommended dishes and wine and couldn’t be happier with the results. It’s a real gem in Hove.
I can't believe I have walked past this place so many times and never gone in. The food was incredible, amazing service and such good value for money! I will be going back without a doubt!
Semola is an authentic Italian place in Hove. When me and my Italian friends are feeling nostalgic, we come here to eat good food. Also, Roberto and the staff are very friendly and working in the restaurant with passion. Grazie
One of the best Italian restaurants I have ever been to! My partner and I visited Semola to celebrate my passing my PhD viva and it did not disappoint. From the excellent customer service from both front of house and kitchen staff to the incredible food we LOVED it! It was also extremely well priced. I had a special which was pesto and potato lasagne, whilst my partner had the seafood linguine. We also started with one of the sharing platters which I couldn’t recommend more! My only regret is that I was too full to try their desserts. I recommend booking as it’s extremely popular! Can’t wait to visit again!
It is good that the containment barrier is still in place. Handmade pasta is very chewy and delicious, whether it's pasta with tomato and seafood or pasta with cream of mushroom. It's a big portion. The owner was very friendly. The environment is nice and quiet.
