Staff were nice enough. Unfortunately the food was not great. The bbq pork buns were small and over priced for quantity. The chicken sweetcorn soup tasted like sugar syrup and the bbq pork fried rice was 95% rice and so so dry. House special chow mein was the only saving grace.
Not sure if there has been a change of chef, we have been ordering from here for years, generally the food is great. But the last couple of times the chicken balls have been so overcooked and the fried rice tasted really odd. Hopefully just a blip.
This is the best Chinese takeaway I’ve ever had. The staff are so friendly and the price is great! The only Chinese takeout I go to now. 10/10
Food arrived stone cold and the delivery driver said that it had come straight from the kitchen so couldn’t be cold. Then to be told he couldn’t care less about the situation! Unbelievable!! After using this take away for over 12 years I certainly won’t be recommending or returning. So much for customer service- disgusting!
Just ordered via Deliveroo, spent just under £50 as not cheap. Ordered sweet & sour KP balls after 4 had been consumed,realised it was chicken. My partner is a veggie so spent 20 minutes vomiting called twice and spoke with them, they have refunded the price of the balls however non of the meal was eaten and our evening ruined. If we were at a restaurant our whole meal would have been taken away, Will not be returning will not be recommending either.
We ordered from here last night (£52 worth!) but ended up very disappointed. The sweet and sour sauce was so vinegary, it was inedible. The chicken curry was tasteless and had hardly any chicken in. The chicken chow mein was very nice as was the chicken fried rice, curry sauce, chips and prawn crackers though and were reasonably priced. Overall though, I wouldn't say it's great value for money, due to those 2 things letting them down severely and we will not order from here again.
Price gone up about 30%, portion size reduced and no increase in the quality. I know things have gone up, but really, a 45% increase in mixed vegetable dishes and then reduced sizes just speaks pure greed and profiteering. Sadly, this is my last visit here
