I have been here a few times now and the food is great. The premises is more of a take away service so the restaurant has never been busy when I have been in either week day or sat night. So if you don't mind not having many other people around you then this is great. You can bring your own alcohol and I have previously bought in a bottle of red wine and another time some beers to enjoy. The food is great value and also really nice. So this makes for a good quality meal that is also very cheap. During the week it was completely empty on my visits and on the Saturday just a handful of other people in. The staff are friendly and welcoming and explained that the lack of sit down customers is because they have a very successful take away business. So it's obviously popular as a take away as the food is great but the place is quiet. If you don't mind that then I would recommend it

Our first visit since the renovation and we had a very enjoyable meal. The dishes were not exactly as we have had elsewhere but the flavours were excellent. Chilli levels were not as hot as we like but next time I fully expect they will adjust it as we request. It is a bit disappointing that the lamb is strips rather than normal chunks i.e. usually more flavour in the latter. Menu has a few more "different" dishes than others. Lovely Lassi and nice to have a BYO option for preferred alcohol (no overpriced lager!)

My food took almost an hour and a half to come, 45 minutes later than expected. Some was missing it was warm and they refused a refund! Biggest liars going. Kept telling me that they were at my door when actually it turned out they didn't even know where my house was! I called to keep asking for a refund and received one excuse after another. I will be going in there on one of their busiest days to make a show of them and demand my refund if they do not contact me ASAP. Absolutely disgusting way to treat customers, taking money for something they have received and refusing a refund for awful service and food quality.

Had a meal (booked table). No atmosphere in the restaurant, had to ask for music to be played, as we were surprised that we were the only ones there. Food tasted great, however when the bill came, it was very expensive. The menu prices were misleading, dansak dishes was stated that they came with rice, yet we were charged extra for rice, which again was in our opinion very expensive, just under £4 for pilau rice and extra £1 on top for mushroom rice (just under £5), popadoms and chutneys also very expensive. The manager when questioned was very arrogant and had bad attitude, quite rude. We won't be back, no wonder place was empty on a Saturday evening.....

Very tasty food. Polite and prompt service. Feeling very full right now.. Comprehensive menu with all your favorites! They don't have a liqour licence but are happy for you to bring your own!! Good portions and authentic dishes.. I'd highly recommend to sit down or take away.

This is the second time I have had a terrible curry from this place. When they won their curry award it was good but the owner has become arrogant and his staff are the same. Chicken tikka massala had six small pieces of chicken in and the rest sauce. The owner is in the kitchen managing it. Zero quality, zero service. The owner said he’d given me an extra popadom (patronising). Complete rip off and I don’t usually do online reviews.

Tasted how it looks in the photos. Everything was oozing with grease, and now my partner is extremely unwell. Order cost me around £50, and had to pay for my own poppadoms which were smashed to bits. Will cook up dirt from my garden before ordering here again.
