   Had a spontaneous Monday lunch at the Boars. The food, service and atmosphere was beautiful! We felt very festive and as always the chicken pie and belly pork was 10/10! Ella was very friendly and attentive. Already looking forward to our next visit! X

   Lovely members of staff all very chatty and helpful. The food was really nice especially the starters was the best. The only downside was we was waiting over 25 minutes for our drinks we already had our starters by the time our drinks came. My fish and chips was nice but the fish was a lot of batter compared to actual fish but I would come back again and try something different.

   Called in 2 day for late lunch great car parking space loverly seating outdoor area on sunny day walked in 2 building wasn't greeted at door had 2 ask if it was ok 2 sit in bar area girl on bar pleasant. went 2 bar 2 get drink had again 2 ask if we order at bar or took order at table had 2 get my own menu .which was dirty had coffee rings on it small details this could be a 6 star with a bit more attention plenty of staff about overall food was fantastic flavours very tasty. 50 50 might come back

   I love all of the Parogon restaurants and The Boars Head didn't disappoint. Delicious food and cocktails. My girlfriend and I couldn't fault it at all. A perfect dining experience, with delightful staff. If you fancy treating yourself, I highly recommend it.

   Much better than expected and staff really are super friendly and kind. Clean and modern room with all you need. Comfy clean bed and decent bedding. Grout in bathroom a bit grubby but I don’t go around licking shower wall tiles so it didn’t bother me at all. Noise from road but that is too be expected in a town and again didn’t bother me at all (If you are sensitive to noise maybe try a more rural countryside location). Breakfast was adequate with toast, cereal, yoghurts, tea, coffee and juices all readily available. Not much option for vegetarian fried breakfast but staff we super accommodating and really are a key part of what makes this place fabulous value for more and I’d definitely say it’s somewhere I’d stay again.
