For those who remember the previous incarnation....the food is as tasty. Emphasis is on rich flavours and not simply heat and spice. The service is relaxed and attentive, the vibe is more buzzy and the menu seems to have a little wider choice. Great to have a first rate restaurant back in our village.
Having recently dined at Rama Thirteen, which has reopened with new management, I can confidently say we had an amazing experience! The service was outstanding; the staff were incredibly friendly and attentive. The food was absolutely delicious, with each dish not only tasting fantastic but also looking spectacular. My choices for the night included the Thai prawn crackers, salmon in teriyaki sauce, and the sticky pudding with the most delicious ice cream I've ever tasted. To top it off, I enjoyed a gin and tonic that complemented the meal perfectly. I couldn't recommend this place more. It's officially my new favorite spot in the area!
I had the Samrab Chiang Mai lunch set and I can’t remember the last time I enjoyed a meal this much! Excellent value for money and such a great way to sample so many dishes at once. The service was prompt, the food absolutely delicious, and the dessert was well worth adding on. Highly recommend!
Wow & welcome back! Lovely Friendly & Fun welcome by Tik, Jason and Sarah. Beautiful restaurant and ambience, spotlessly clean, spacious. The food was stunning at lunch time today. We had a mix of à la carte and great value, piping hot and tasty lunch menus. The variety of flavours are amazing. Can’t wait for the main launch and we will be going back regularly!
Had a fantastic meal here -authentic Thai flavours and beautifully presented dishes. The food was delicious with rich, well-balanced flavours all round. The restaurant itself is a nice size, offering a comfortable dining experience. Service was a little inconsistent, but overall, it didn’t take away from the experience. Prices are on the higher side, but given the quality of the food, it’s well worth it.
Starters were particularly good - dipping sauce with the moo ping excellent and the portions generous. Overall food of a high standard, well prepared and beautifully presented. Being particularly critical found the Thai green curry a bit too rich, and in my wife's seafood dish, the squid was on the chewy side, but that's being picky. The service was very good, albeit almost too fast. The seating I have to say is pretty tight as it is deservedly, a very popular restaurant. A bit on the expensive side... Overall though a very enjoyable meal ..
We really enjoyed our lunch. Very friendly and helpful. I loved the simple elegance of white table cloths and cotton napkins. The dishes were beautifully presented and tasty but could have been more authentically spicy for my personal taste.
One of the best meals I have ever had. The flavours were just incredible. I highly recommend the teriyaki salmon with mango salad. Delicious!
