Standard pub fayre. Good portion, side salad (which is nice, not all pubs serve them). We all enjoyed our food.
Good service friendly staff, however the meals we had were very small. I Know it was £7.50 but expected to have more than 11 chips. It was less than a child's portion. Food was tasty though so we didn't complain.
Popped in for a spot of dinner. Service was very friendly and nothing was too much trouble. The food was very nice and provided a doggy box for the leftovers, which was brilliant. Pub was very clean and attention to detail by the staff was excellent.
Took my elderly mum out for a suprise treat. Perfectly cooked Sunday dinner. Everything that came out of the kitchen was first class. Definitely recommend. Thank you. Will be back next time I'm home to visit Swansea.
Stunning food, great staff, and a really friendly atmosphere. Couldn't ask for anything more. The new owners are doing a fantastic job, and we will be back soon
Booked a table for our group for Sunday lunch. Every single meal was stone cold. We decided not to stay for food. Refund was issued however. One in our group was a little rude to the waiter in frustration. Clearly weren't their fault. Felt guilty about that afterwards to be honest. Wouldn't return again though.
Had an amazing mixed grill. The staff were warm and welcoming especially the tall guy. Would deffo recommend to anyone passing new management have seemed to turn the place around
The service was terrible. Very slow. Took 20 minutes to be served for a drink when it was not even busy. Food even worse. Tasteless. Hair in the burger. Time from when first main being brought out to the last main to come out was around 15 minutes. Staff were all sitting around drinking. Whole experience was shocking. Will not be going here ever again.
Absolutely outstanding cocktails, the drink deals were brilliant and the presentation was beautiful. Would definitely recommend the Hen Dderwen.
