   Terrible experience, terrible food. Also after paying £10.00 deposit each one of our group had a massive stroke consequently he and his wife could not attend. Bearing in mind you were informed of this many weeks before the event you refused to refund their deposit although there were still 14 of us, so we all thought as a group that this was very uncaring and I personally will never come again.

   This isnloval in our village. To be fair the food is always pretty good and good value. Wide menu, which sometimes is a worry as I tend to think pubs should do small menus but do them well, but here our food and the food that came out for other tables seem pretty good.

   I had a seafood salad platter, HUGE! felt a lot like an eating challenge!! It was all ok but nothing to write home about. Have Ghost Ship on the pump here, big plus. It's the sort of place you'd take your gran for Sunday lunch, they've got a salad bar and what looks like a carvery counter. Decor all a little sterile, but nice enough with it. Friendly service, reasonable prices.

   The specials change regularly. Food, coffee and drinks are very good. Staff are very friendly and the service is excellent. Must book for big groups. Dogs are only welcome if eating or drinking in the garden.

   Our favourite local, here most weeks! Staff are always friendly and polite. Quick service and Quality food. Tonight we celebrated my Dad's 60th Birthdya with my family. He loves the food here. Such a variety of meals on the main menu and specials board. Food was delicious tonight as always. Forever bringing people here to try the food!

   A fine village pub which is so much bigger than it looks! The greeting was friendly and fun, the menu looked great and the gardens were fab. We didnt have food but will certainly return to try the carvery.

   Friendly and inviting village pub restaurant. The staff are polite and efficient, the place is presented nicely and is very clean. There is a good range of items on the menu. The portions are generous and the pricing is very reasonable. The reason for the 3 stars is simply due to the lack of flavour in the food. I would have happily had a smaller portion but with much more flavour. I had the turkey, ham and mushroom pie which was huge but just tasted bland which was a let down. Minor adjustment here could make a big difference.
